Pentagon are so under rated. The live performances of this have been so great. They work so hard!!!
They've been around for a little while now and if you mention Pentagon, most kpop fans will know who they are, however, most people haven't stayed with them and it truly sucks because they have so much talent and the members work so hard to produce not only music for themselves but for others, and get nothing for it.

Well “Dr. Bebe” is about crazily falling in and out of love with an ex. You know the feeling of mixed emotions, you remember the happy moments..but then you remember the really bad moments. You don’t want that person to move on and come back to you, but then at the same time you don’t want to experience pain again. This mixed emotion is literally driving the PTG members insane as shown in the MV. They are stuck in the middle and trying to escape from it, but always find their way tied down, chained, and etc for that person’s love or the love that they once had.
The member who literally had his whole chest and abs exposed in the MV is PTG’s resident HOT SEXY BODY/GYM BEAST/HEALTH GURU, Hongseok. There are other members who aspire to have a body like Hongseok and are on their way to getting nice bodies too. Haha! But until they get to that point, they love to tease and brag about Hongseok having a “HOT BODY”. He was bound to show his body in this comeback because the concept is DARK AND SEXY.
I really enjoyed singing this side of PENTAGON and it received a good amount of praise and recognition internationally. However, they didn’t receive a lot of love in skorea music charts. So they have yet to get their first music show win. I actually felt like they got robbed when they didn’t win for “Shine”. But that’s a whole different story 😂
I honestly believe Pentagon has one of the best vocalist in kpop. Sadly, when it comes to kpop fans they will mainly say EXO or NCT or even Super Junior have the best vocalists. I believe Pentagon could be at the same level and even have more potential as well.

I was kinda worried knowing they would do a dark concept but I was like “ you know what, trust them I know they would do good. 1. The metronome you see throughout the MV. Metronomes are also called Dr. Beat by musicians.
2. It also refers to baby, the song is about loving an ex.

Pentagon's leader Hui writes a lot of their music and lyrics. He's also written for others e.g. Wanna One's Energetic. The amazing thing about Dr. Bebe is that he composed it in one day! I saw this as one main character and all the facets of his personality that after a break up cause they were in LOVE, FALL hard for her but ultimately are HURT by her and then go CRAZY. Literally the metronomes are the clicking of time passing which they are desperate to turn back or stop but can’t. Hence by the end they are all submitting to just sitting there broken by it. Although the guys were all behind him at the end I still theorise that the MV was like a look inside him mind and memory to the times and moments that are now pushing him through trauma and eventual catatonic state. Like the bouquet of flowers was a special moment, but it’s ruined now and then trashing the places in his mind that were important to them both. The only one he thinks can fix it is her coming back, healing him like a dr, but his baby or Bebe who caused all this. Just a theory I’m just throwing in first impressions. 🧐also that I LOVE this MV, lol 💖😈dark concept deff suits!
The other idea is multiple characters going through traumatic breakups and each spiral into the crazy stage in different ways but all shown through what’s happening in their heads. They try to stop the metronome but you can’t stop time.
Dr Bebe is their ex - Bebe being the French for baby and dr being the only one they think can ‘heal’ them. But from what we can determine their ex isn’t planning to save them. Mr 20 abs is about right, lol Hongseok has more than average lol 😂
