It could very well show that they take over the power over the course of the video. They get their crown in the middle, towards the end, they walk to the top of the steps where all the male Lions can be seen walking to them from the bottom (they have seized the power), then the end sees the male lion being burned (their power is no longer questioned)
Also Soyeon said that she wants (G)I-DLE to be not bounded by prejudice or frame, like being an "idol" or "female".
So it does not matter if its lioness or lion, if lion with mane simbolizes power, than that is it.
They are "Queens" like "Lions".
The fact Soyeon produced and wrote this song makes it that much better

The international neverlands are not even as many as people thought. Cause if it is, their physical album sales and their youtube mv will do much better than now. I'm not discrediting anyone, but these girls do have good amount of casual listeners. I just wish the fandom will grow more and resulted in their sales cause they are that good.

@brisxlife this song was made for an episode of Queendom. Survival competition of kpop girl groups. The version they put on the show was amazing. Soyeon wrote the song and the idea came up as a story of how (G)I-DLE would be queen's of the show Queendom. Watching it during the episode had so much more meaning behind the performance, you should react to that!
