This is really random, but I have this fan theory that Miracle Guy is Max from the first movie who manifested all of his dreams into reality and turned himself into this universe's Superman, making himself a symbol of hope but also becoming an egotistical, Homelander-type leader.

I intended to watch this movie with my 2yo cousin and she left in the first five minutes... shame on her... I got to watch this masterpiece alone

Since you enjoyed it, try putting it on when the kiddo gets older. 2yo is incredibly young, especially to have a solid enough taste and understand of film.
This gives a chance of a rewatch after several years, and allows you to tell them a βyou didnβt like this when you were smallerβ after they [potentially and hopefully] enjoy the movie.

I kinda hate the fact that Sharkboy and Lavagirl are in this world when they are literally just a part of Maxβs imagination.
Maybe this is a retcon at some sort. So We Can Be Heroes takes place in a different universe where the world is dependent on superheroes.
Didn't the ending of the first movie insinuate that Max could manifest the things from his Dream Journal into reality? Maybe Max went on a crazy power trip and went full House Of M, altering reality and making Sharkboy and Lavagirl exist in our world.
Except they're also not because Mr. Electric was able to come to the real world. Itβs not like he was dreaming that either cause he was woken up and everyone else saw him.
@@parycartoons6840 Mr Electric was manifested *after* Max had unlocked his abilities. Max was also able to bestow powers onto one of his classmates, which could explain why there are more heroes in this movie.

Stayed even longer for the campiness, and energy of the film, as well as the cringe and bad acting.

So what Iβm getting is that this is one of Robertβs movies that isnβt a cringe-filled hard-to-watch mess like Shark Boy and Lava Girl, but isnβt anywhere near as good as the Spy Kid trilogyβs movies, so itβs this weird middle ground thatβs not quite a horrible failure but not really a great success either so itβs mostly just a disappointment because it had potential to be great, but failed.
did you ever watch spy kids it was 10000% as chringe filled as sharkboy and lava girl. the thing is tho...in spy kids and sharkboy and lava girl the kids were amazing at playing the roles. i mean future wolf boy , george Lopez . machete . ect.. everyone played the movies to be over the top and cringe filled and it worked......go watch once upon a time in mexico and tell me that aint a cringe filled hard to watch masterpiece.

It knows that itβs a goofy, family flick about kids being secret agents, and it *knows* it, and doesnβt try to hide it. In fact, it practically grabs you and takes you along for the ride. In Shark Boy and Lava Girl, though, it takes takes a lot of what it does seriously, not to mention thereβs a lot of bad writing that really makes you start to question what is really going on. And yeah, I did watch the Spy Kids movies, it just doesnβt come across as cringe because itβs more campy, and S-Boy and L-girl was cringe because it had bad writing, nonsensical stuff happening that it took seriously on some level. Also, why in Mexico?

I agree about 1 & 2 being the best, but Iβm gonna have to respectfully disagree with you on βthe rest sucking.β The 4th one is the only one that was really mediocre and blah, the 3rd one is still pretty great. But most people agree that none of the movies are really horrible, and I agree with that statement. (I would say in my opinion, but that seems to be the general consensus on the movies) Youβre opinion is still valid, though. (Would just prefer if you said it was your opinion, thatβs all)

Ojo is the best character. She starts out with an awesome power of drawing the future, and she doesnβt talk, but still helps the team out. Then she makes a very interesting twist at the end by talking and revealing that she was an alien spy. Her character is really interesting to watch with the development. I also like Rewind, Fast-forward, and Guppy. I like all of them. This movie is really good. I didnβt think I would like it but it is really good especially for a kids movie. My 2 year old brother didnβt like it that much like I thought he would so I watched most of it alone. Reaction KRplusrs seem to really not like it but it is so entertaining.

I watched this movie on New Years Eve and I really did enjoyed the flick. I noticed that the CGI has improved a lot since the original CGI in _Sharkboy and Lavagirl_ looks very odd and cheesy that added to the charm.
As someone who finally got around to watching it, yeah, it was really fun. It has wasted potential, and has flaws that makes it that I canβt really consider it to be on the tier of, like, Kung Fu Panda 3. But it has an amazing energy and is a really fun time. And the kid actors did a relatively decent job. Better than The Incredibles 2, would recommend over a lot of things on Netflix.

Fun Fact: Lautner was interested in doing this one, but a scheduling conflict got in the way. The reason Sharkboy doesn't speak is because they want to do another one and have Lautner return to the role and have a speaking role then

The kids arenβt great actors but their characters are still entertaining and I liked the movie. Ojo is the best character. She is the best actor, and can express emotions without words. Ojo also brings an interesting twist at the end being an alien spy and showing development by starting shy and then talking in the end why she revels she is a spy. We also learn that she can create things though her drawings and that the whole thing was a test or something stupid like that but Ojo is actually nice. Her power is confusing but she is an interesting character.
