The Korean military is not going to take anyone not physically fit into a military position. Idols have been known to get surgery to correct back injuries so they can qualify to serve in.certain jobs. I think people need to stop bullying idols by trying to tell adult men what they can and cant do, like over protective mothers. These idols are grown men by the time they serve, they are no longer young boys.

People don’t understand how long it takes to recover from a torn ACL injury I saw two friends tear their ACL in sports took both 1 year plus to get to 100% but in S. coups case he doesn’t have to worry about other things since he’s an idol but it will still take a year to get he back to being able to walk normal with no support and potentially be jogging on it with no serious pain

People are really crazy nothing is more important than their health idols are human they are not toys

I think we should be rather proud of taeyong like he is still willing to serve in millitary and all the other male artists or even skorean's who are suffering from these kind of issues but in some cases if someone can't endure the pain and has some serious issues than its OK too let's not compare them

The recovery process is like 6-12 at least, and he had two surgeries. Scoups is probably still in rehabilitation for it honestly. Either way, we don’t know what happens behind the scenes for any idol and their medical information is not our business. there’s no reason to compare medical problems, most of us aren’t doctors, and we don’t even have all of the facts about these medical problems.

He doesnt make the decision, the military service medics makes the decision who is fit and who is not using the same selection process for everyone. He will still do military service but in a different discipline. Those discipline in times of war are as equally necessary and important to keeping an army running in times of peace or war. If you are the ordering the food or bullets without these an army of soldiers would not survive in war.
