Number 5 is just sleep paralysis and the shadowy figure was a hallucination.When paralysed it is very likely to see something or even hear noises.It has happened to me 3 times in my life

I believed in ghosts until I understood what night terrors/sleep paralysis are. I think most of these stories are cases of that. It feels absolutely real, but it's just your half-sleeping brain playing tricks on you.

The last one, #5, sounds like a case of sleep paralysis. For instance, the narrator here says things about how they couldn’t move or talk, which is a very common occurrence in sleep paralysis.
May be wrong, but that’s just my thought.

I know most people want to see Shane and Ryan come back, but I, for one, would just like to say that I loved this video. It was interesting to hear stories submitted from the actual community and learn about their own spooky encounters--although most of them sounded like cases of sleep paralysis or something, especially the last one but it was still spine-tingling nonetheless. It'd be amazing to see this get turned into an actual series or something, and I can't wait to see more videos like this in the future. Thank you, Unsolved team, for taking the time to make these videos. :)

My aunt and cousins live in an old plantation style 19th century 3 story house along main street in a small town in South Carolina. It's completely remodeled and modernized on the inside, but the outside still looks as traditional as the original style minus a few cosmetic upgrades for the roof and added terraced porch expansion. All that aside, the house has been rumored to be haunted for as long as all of family can remember. The uneasy feeling you get in the main parlor, living room and upstairs hallway into the bathroom is overwhelming at times. I always wrote it off to being spooked by the legend of it all, but people that i genuinely respected as truthful had the most bizarre and unbelievable stories about the house. The push mower would start and roll into neighbors yards from out of a open-faced shed. The faucets would turn on full blast inside in multiple rooms some times despite no plumbing issues. And my aunt swore she had seen a man at the foot of her bed so many times that it wasn't even alarming to her any more. She was a high school teacher for decades and a member of the school board. A very respected member in our small town, so the idea that she would make this up to risk being mocked and discredited is just out of the question. It helps that our Jr. High School principal, a close neighbor to my aunt, called the police to report a break in while she was at a conference at the beach. He called her immediately after calling the police. While he was standing on the sidewalk, about 50 yards from the side of the house, he said he watched someone move past the hall window upstairs with a very dull light for several minutes before seeing the figure finally pass the window. That window is a small bay-style window. The only problem is that the window's bottom is just at 8 feet off the ground. When my aunt realized what he was explaining couldnt be someone breaking in, she realized before the man did that he may be seeing a ghost. The police confirmed no one was inside and there was no sign of a break in, no tripped burglar alarm. Also, there was no source of dull light up stairs and the neighbor now could see that the policemen were nowhere near visible in the hall window like the figure had been earlier. The man said it was the most trivial experience of his life, but after realizing what he had seen he refuses to step foot near the house and doesnt even like to look toward it in fear of what he will see. I'd love for someone to do some type of ghost hunt in the house and on the grounds around it. The town is surrounded by corruption and negative press, especially for such a small town in such a small state in the south. I can imagine it has its share of demons and dark secrets.

About 2 years ago, I heard a little girl singing in the hallway outside my room. It was around 9:30 pm and I was almost asleep. It sounded kind of like a lullaby, but I couldn't make out any of the words. I was so freaked out. I just told myself that it was my sister, (who's room was across the hall from me), so I could go to sleep. I didn't ask my sister if she heard it too until a few days later because I didn't want to scare her too. She said that she heard it too. The weirdest thing is that she just accepted the fact that the singing was probably coming from a ghost and went to sleep anyway.
