Isabel Magnolia at the same people having a thrill and kinda enjoying it so it’s a good thing. The fakeness is boring but many people are pretty easy fo convince which is why it’s a great tourist attraction lol
A lot of it will be actual history of the evil people and yes even if people are scared they go because they are into the dark stuff so that’s why it would be a good job, your entertaining your guests, its a unique service that’s why you kind of have to lie, but it’s not bad lying, most of the history like I said is fairly true.
Shaniac here. I went to this museum and they actually have some really cool stuff. When I was there the only jump scares they had were the clowns and they could have done away with that too. Sometimes the tour guide would ask for someone to open a door or go through a dark passageway and no one else wanted to do it. I just remember opening the door to the Kevorkian van (an amazing piece of history btw) and being like “oh cool!” and everyone in my group was like ??? who is this weirdo?
(btw they have you sign the waiver so they’re legally allowed to show the footage of you collapsing if you do and the whole thing is a perfect recipe for someone to collapse: poor air quality, inconsistent lighting, limited access to water, no sitting down, etc.)
I still highly recommend for anyone into oddities and unusual artifacts. It was probably the coolest thing I did in Vegas.
I visited this museum in 2020 just when masks became a thing. The scariest part was because I was a one-person group they sent me in the divvuk box room alone. I was absolutely terrified.
