I think that the res flag was, like Ekman says in his books, the change in behavior. When he answers things that suppose to be true, like his name, we can see hand movement, deeper voice pitch. When he lie the voice pitch goes higher, the hands grab the chair's arms. That raised a flag for me.

While this is interesting, I think it's important to note that these 'signs of lying' aren't always indicative of deception; neurodivergent folks (specifically ASD and some anxiety disorders) can cause people to act this way (nervous, avoiding eye contact, etc.). Like again this is cool and applicable in a lot of places, but it's also important to know the times when it can be wrong

I guessed right. He was touching his mouth a lot and restless leg syndrom. He mentioned SJ pulled was shaking his (then corrected to my) hand. He was interrupting and speaking over the questions suggesting rehearsed story. Well done me! 😎

I guessed it right based on:
    1. A lot of fidgeting (holding onto the couch, grabbing his knee, shaking his legs)
    2. He looked up at production at least twice for validation.
    3. He gave way too much detail (airport, time, where everyone sat)

She told us right off the bat how fidgeting, licking lips, scratching, etc were all cues. My dude did all that. And she just...missed it? I’m not even a professional, I’m just going off of what my law enforcement dad and brother are always going on about, but I feel like he was pretty obvious. He was wringing his hands, scratching his knee, bouncing his leg, licking his lips, avoiding eye contact, nodding excessively, kept touching his mouth and neck which are all self-comfort gestures, kept volunteering specific information and repeating it, specifically the time and setting (people tend to over share details to make it seem more credible). When she called out the illogical point of his body guards sitting elsewhere (which for the record, not that illogical), he clammed up and kept trying to move on and albeit in a playful manner, still defaulted to defensive speech (“well I’m not Samuel l Jackson”). And then what’s more, sorta had an element of emotional detachment from his story when he didn’t volunteer very much of his internal monologue or reaction from the story, it was really just more of rehearsing a practiced story. All the other people kept pausing their story to describe their thoughts and reactions and emotions and he didn’t. The little he did share didn’t cut in spontaneously the way it did for everyone else. I feel like she sorta blew by all of that.
