@@JCasR3 yes small inclines but those pictures were of mountains not the Canadian shield. They look very different. I have a cottage near Falcon Lake and what they showed in the video looked nothing like the area. Zero research went into that.

I'm from Winnipeg, MB. I used to camp at Falcon Lake all throughout my childhood and up into my teens. My friend and I were about 13 years old sitting on the small beach and we spotted a UFO! It's hard to remember exactly what it looked like, but from what I can remember there were three glowing orbs of an orangish colour dancing around in the shape of a triangle. We couldn't believe our eyes, we observed it for a a minute or so before getting super freaked out and running back to our campsite to sit by the fire. We could still see the glowing orbs from where we were sitting, and we both had a really bad feeling about it, so we put out the fire and headed into our tent. Falcon Lake has a crazy high report of UFO sightings. You can see the stars like crazy from the beach out there.

Love it! But hear me out.
Couple of points.
-They didn't find the craft-site until months after the event. The police took Michalak to the area several times walking and by helicopter, and he could not remember where it was or find it.
-Michalak DID sell and publish his story the following year to The Winnipeg Tribune and "My encounter with the UFO" published in 1967.
My 5 minute theory: They mention deposits of silver in the area, and that he was a prospector. Silver deposits usually also have lots of mercury deposits (in the form of Cinnebar, Mercury-sulphide). If he was trying to get the silver out of his findings, and not very knowledgeable, he probably would have smelted all the ore down. Mercury sulphide decomposes into sulfur-dioxide and liquid-metal mercury. (Sulphur dioxide is the "sulfur-smell". Mercury boils at just 350c and turns into vapour)
If he was using a cover over his stove/forge with those holes drilled in it (he just happened to know the exact hole-dimensions on the police report) and fell on it while poisoned by the mercury vapors, could explain the high sulfur content and smell, as well as the burns, and the sickness. Alternatively, the mercury could flash-boil and essentially explode into gas...which would blast through the holes if he was leaning over it, giving that exact pattern of chemical burns. If you added cinnebar to molten silver it would sink to the bottom, liquify, then explode sending out molten silver and boiling sulfur-dioxide gas.
If he then took the metal castings he had left over from this smelting back to the "craft-site" in the following months, they would be a "rare type of silver alloy" with a high mercury content. Exactly like amalgum used in tooth fillings. (those pictures look just like someone has spilled a small crucible of molten alloy, or the before mentioned "squirts" from the smelting)
Which is the "real" story, and which is the "story he didn't want to tell because he was embarrassed"
Food for thought. I know it doesn't explain everything, and not saying this is the answer...but fits with a LOT of the details. :)
The place was radioactive as well, just a coincidence from the highly radioactive material nearby...
Truthfully I thought this was the beginning of a new season of Unsolved Supernatural

What they say is true. Unsolved was so popular because of the guys. They had good chemistry, humor, and stage presence. The actual mysteries aren’t nearly as entertaining without them.

The incident happened in 1967. The radioactivity there ( a small piece of metal that was radioactive) wasn't "discovered" until 1968. Weird, it's like the scarp of metal was planted there afterwards, to help corroborate the story.

Okay like obviously buzzfeed can produce more content than the Ghoul Boys (especially since they have their own channel now), but it’s really annoying when they title videos as if they’re gonna be Ghoul Boy videos and then they’re not.
The thing is, if it was going to be the Ghoul Boys, the Ghoul Boys would let you know, because they always advertise the new season. If you haven't seen anything about it from Shane and Ryan, then you know it isn't them and you don't need to be disappointed.
