The Isdal Woman: While I do believe that she was probably killed by another being/organization, I'd like to deposit a theory/plausible reason for setting herself on fire. The reason an individual such as herself would set herself on fire as apart of her suicide may have been because she believed she had covered her tracks/identity well up to this point. Setting herself ablaze could've been thought as a final way to still conceal her identity if she/whoever she was working for really didn't want her to be identified...even if it didn't necessarily work. Either that, or she was on the run from and trying to keep secrets from another organization/individual but wasn't provided access to more efficient means of keeping oneself silent when captured. It would also help if there was more info/description than just a strange bruise....
I thought this too. They weren’t able to create a face construction photo (I don’t know the proper term for it). Had they have been able to then they might have been able to identify her so it seems like it was done on purpose. If she had all of the sleeping tablets then she might have thought she wouldn’t feel the pain so it would have been a rationale thought for her
I think the pills were to help her feel nothing as they set her ablaze so it could be a mercy killing either by someone she trusted to keep herself from getting caught by whoever was after her she was probably was tired of keeping a secret and we might never know what the secret could be that is important to keep that all this happened to her and who was chasing hed

The story of Louis Le Prince- I think Edison killed him and kept Adolphe quiet by killing him as well. Edison's name is the biggest name of this invention and he knew that would've happened. He could've been struggling with finishing this and knowing Louis had already shown it to potential investors, he just decided to steal it. HAD Louis had any financial struggles, he was already going to get an inheritance of what he owed and more. Plus, he knew how revolutionary his inventions were so money didn't seem like an issue. Adolphe was killed during the time of the trial? Too fishy. Very likely Edison.

Ellie Recine I’ve thought about that too but tend to drift away from it when you consider the actual difference in the moment between admiring anatomical displays and viscerally cutting someone open. In my opinion, at least, Jack the Ripper had some surgical experience.
@@deangreen2567 as both an artist and a student in homicide crime scene investigation, there's a very different mindset required to actually dissect/vivisect a human versus simply studying the anatomy. an artist could theoretically locate and remove a woman's uterus, but to do it with the accuracy and smooth cuts displayed by the Ripper, some kind of extensive medical experience is pretty much necessary, like, say the kind required to be a surgeon or an undertaker. I'm not sure what kind of preparation a Victorian era corpse would go under before burial, but a modern mortician would certainly have enough anatomical knowledge to cleanly and accurately remove organs.
They didn't have forensics as accurate as today but they would have had a good understanding of body temperature and the rigor mortis time line enough to determine and accurate time of death.
You guys should do the death of Edgar Allen Poe, it’s pretty strange. I saw 2 other comments about this and briefly looked at the story and it’s really odd so I thought I’d also suggest it.

Most Art theft is not about the art itself, it's about getting a "get out of jail free card" as a valuable bargaining chip if the crime they actually are planning goes awry, and they need to make an Immunity agreement with officials, or as a trade/"A pawn/ down-payment until we have actual cash on hand", when buying drugs, guns/gear, human workers or whatever you are in the marked for

The cashier should have told the storeowner about the 8yr old girl not paying that merchandize she took without paying, then should have settled it privately told his father. We must respect, protect these little children while growing up not shaming them in public. Little kids bullied each other because many parents are idiots!!

Here's my theory in the double murder in the Jake/Jill the Ripper case. Maybe Cathrine Eddowes was the one who walked in on Jack/Jill killing Elizabeth Stride and chased/followed her and killed her to get rid of a witness. Idk just a theory
That would make sense on why they were so close
Yeah but wouldn’tCathrine be screaming bloody murder? And even if she didn’t people would notice a women bolting away and man chasing after her.
Maybe Stride was a distraction (why she was quickly killed). Have the police else where while you kill how you like, i.e. taking numerous body parts.

I had a project on him and i failed it lmao
The info about Barnett and Kelly may suggest he killed Kelly but not the others. He could of used the Ripper to cover his own crime.
That's always a theory I had, the last murder had a different MO entirely. Whoever killed her would need time and privacy.
50:50 FYI they eventually found out the person he let in the night before the job was the museum admin of security or something like that, i forgot exactly. Regardless, he worked for the museum lol. I really think the security guard is 100% innocent...

Show to knit to scraf as I learn about murders
This is especially hilarious to me, because when I was about 10 my aunts would make my mom watch a show called "Most Evil" or some such, and to cope with being freaked out, she would constantly crochet.

I love how Ryan's laugh/chuckle is depicted as a wheeze.

Jack the Ripper could have been a mortician. That could explain how they had anatomical knowledge
Sean Smith or an artist that studied anatomy? Like Da Vinci's work
Ellie Recine I’ve thought about that too but tend to drift away from it when you consider the actual difference in the moment between admiring anatomical displays and viscerally cutting someone open.

In my mind I thought that maybe she burned herself because she didn't want to be identified for whatever reason.
