Shane laughing when she says the demon threw the dog against the wall and Ryan being incensed and embarrassed makes me crack up every time. I fully get why he laughed, I fully get Ryan being upset, and I fully get why that lady wanted to punch him in the face. Everyone is correct in that moment and yet it’s SO awkward.
I personally think she’s lying or exaggerating her story so I don’t feel too bad, Shane basically called her out for how ridiculous it sounds
I thought she was arrogant and lying honestly. Also, any “master therapist” who doesn’t understand uncomfortable laughter and threatens to punch someone in the face, should not be a therapist. She’s the only person in this whole series I don’t believe.

The thing I really, really love about this show, is that they both believe in their side entirely. Like I feel like my stance is that it could be true, I've never seen a ghost but that doesn't mean they don't exist. Here we have one person who is like "ghosts actually do not exist, 100%" and another person who, despite doing this for so long and never actually seeing a ghost, has seen enough to be like "no they 100% do exist" and yet they're both so chill about it.
Quite possibly the best part of the entire season.

I do like how respectful Shane is towards people recounting their experiences, at the end of the day the experience is real to them whether it was a supernatural incident or just wind or their minds playing tricks, it’s still significant to them and I like that he understands that.

Love the story on the Bellaire House. Edwin and Lyde were my great uncle and aunt. I've never heard stories about the house being haunted, but many family legends about my great great grandfather Jacob. He was a fairly wealthy and very eccentric coal miner who gave credit where it was due to his trusty mule Jack, stating that Jack did all the work. The house had a special entrance with a custom high entry way for Jack. Not sure where "Bellaire House" comes from. In my family it was always know as the "House the Jack built."

Shane is like the old man that always shows up at grandma’s when you are visiting to correct you when you are inevitably wrong.
At the asylum where Ryan is sure the chair has squeaked . After they've tried to speak with the German nurse . The chair squeak/drag sound sounds an awful lot like wind blowing across the circular pipe on the roof . Like sewer vent pipes . I've worked on roofs for 20 years so I kind of recognize it . Just a little something to consider . It has that blowing into the top of a bottle sound .

I'm actually from point pleasant, it was a bird. There used to be a 3 story brick building right next to the fair ground, near where the mothman thing started. Its in a wildlife mgmt area. They captured a large Sandhill crane right after the "mothman" was seen. The building was called the bird house for years before they tore it down.

I’ve been using these marathons as “background music” while I was studying for my finals. It really wasn’t a smart choice because I remember more about this series than what I was supposed to study. I regret nothing tho

I went to point pleasant this fall and it was such a nice little town! I’m actually kinda tempted to move there! It was a much smaller town than I had originally anticipated but I think that added to the charm. Everyone was so nice and the pizza was incredible.
