Yeah, they are both honest. Ryan legit believes in ghosts and Shane legit doesn't. Ryan has even explained the actual science behind some of their ghost hunting devices. For example Ryan used science to explain how the mag flashlight turning on/off on its own works. Many other ghost hunters wouldn't do that.
The "shadow guy" that was painted onto the wall isn't the same silhouette or in the same spot as the shadow though
