@@mckenzie2423 she was having some lasting side effects after contracting COVID-19 to the point where she was getting paralyzed and could prolly have died as well. But when she was accepted to be Dolores in the movie it gave her more hopes and strength to continue fighting and push herself to combat against the side effects

Not only her voice is dolores' she even looks like her and not only Adassa, even Diane who is Isabella's voice actress also looks very similar to her. Disney has chosen the perfect voice actors for Encanto 🤩
That's because the characters are modeled after their voice actors. Disney had always put something about their voice actors into the character to make it more authentic 😌
