I made Arrietty's room๐ฟ, my first miniature dollhouse๐ฅน | ๅใใใใใฎใขใชใจใใใฃ
Welcome to my channel! This video shows the process of making a miniature dollhouse, Arrietty's room.
I started making the dollhouse with two wood trays and gradually building it with foam boards and clay. It took me about 10 days to complete this piece, and the process was full of challenges. Although I've watched many videos of making miniature houses on KRplus, this is actually my first time making my own one. During the process, I was full of hesitation and sometimes lack of confidence, especially when the various small objects were completed at different times, they have very different colours and styles. I had to find a way to make them look harmonious together as a piece.
I used materials that I'm familiar with, clay and paints, to make a miniature house. It may be a bit strange because these are not the usual materials used in dollhouse making. I want to incorporate my own style, but I also want to try other materials in the future, such as wood, cloth, paper...maybe in my coming project! Stay tuned!

โThe Borrowersโ is a childrenโs book (the first of five novels) by the English author Mary Norton, published in 1952. These Borrowers are miniature people, who live near and around humans. The Clock Family, who live below a clock, are Pod, the father; Homily, the mother and Arrietty, a teenager.

I used La Dollโs premix stone clay.
Do you use watercolor or acrylic paint here?
I tried watercolor but it didnโt work. Acrylic is better on clay
