Tana’s advice for story no.1 being “find a freak on bumble who wants a barefoot pregnant damsel in distress” just sent me into orbit
if the friend sees this, i have genuine advice i hope she passes on. i think the move is to just go into labor alone and see what race the baby is. a lot of people schedule inductions around 39 weeks, thats what i did. highly recommend. she can do this instead of waiting to naturally go into labor incase she is with cam at that time. if there are any issues with the pregnancy, you may be able to get an induction before that. her friend can be there for support as well as a doula.
so get an induction date and don't tell either guy, turn her phone off right before going in for the induction. i started my induction around 10 pm and then had the baby at 12:30 pm the next day, which is considered quick for an induction for first time moms. it usually takes around 20-24 hours they said. it all really depends on how many doses of cytotec you end up needing to ripen the cervix. most ftms need 3 or 4 but I only needed 1, and they have to be administered 4 hours apart.
then as soon as that baby is born and she sees the race, turn the phone back on and call whoever the dad is instantly and give a sob story on how you went into labor and your phone was dead. then completely cut the other person off. the only way this doesnt awork is if she happens to go into labor before the induction date but thats unlikely since a lot of ftms go past 40 weeks (which is actually dangerous for the baby and increases stillbirth risk tremendously)

I heard a story about a guy that consistently did that, got with pregnant women or single moms. Turns out he’s the type of guy that has a whole second, third, or fourth life the whole time. He leaves without saying a word and even abandons his car in a grocery store parking lot or something like that before he goes to the next town or state and starts again. Wild.

To everyone hating on Tara: she is not “podcast trained”, natural conversations overlap and people interject. It’s not that crazy. I think her and Brooke simply are just getting to know each other for the first time, it’s not an uncommon dynamic and it doesn’t mean they hate each other or are being shady. It’s always a little awkward getting to know others in a group setting and I’m sure it doesn’t help that it’s on camera.
