+Summer Y Yeah.. I imagine the video like this: it’ll start in an old country-style bar. The girl is sitting at the bar, then the song will start. Then the guy will enter the door, carrying his guitar and getaway bag. Then, in between scenes, it will show Carrie singing (of course) and the events during the guy and girl’s relationship when it’s falling apart (e.g. the guy is texting with another girl while they’re in a romantic dinner, the guy left the girl while at a park with an excuse of buying something when in fact he just saw this other girl who has little interest in him). At the end, the girl will throw the car keys to the guy, with tears in her eyes, but with a content “I give up” smile. Then the video will end with the girl leaving the bar, but the guy is still standing there, holding the key, conflicted if he will still chase the other girl, but the protagonist will just keep on walking with the same melancholic but somehow happy and contented smile. What do you think? LOL

This song is the same song my mom, Dianne and I listened to coming home from Bushkill Falls. We heard it when we travelled west on I-78 in the Lehigh Valley from Exit 71 (PA 33) to Exit 60B (South 4th St.).
It's like a dog chasing his tail you never know when it's going to quit; the same as chasing the spirit.

According to Wiki, this is going to be the third single from Storyteller, which if true, makes me sooo happy! This is my favorite song on the album, and I can just listen to this on repeat and it never gets old. This song kind of reminds me of Wasted with the double entendre.
I was afraid it wasn't going to be released as a single since she released Heartbeat, which I could have done without, and there are so many other great songs like Church Bells, Dirty Laundry, and Renegade Runaway. If she doesn't release this it would be a big mistake up there with not releasing Someday When I Stop Loving You.
Is it just me or does anyone else think this could be a song that would also be sung and released by Kelly Clarkson? The lyrics and production make me the Kelly Clarkson for sure. Great song!

When I listen to Carrie I can "see" Kelly in her and vice versa ... both have strong voices, strong lyrics and great true talent
