Hey Carrie this song is so awesome....the first time I heard this song my daughter 8 at the time came to me and told me "mommy listen to this song cause it is how I feel right now" during this time my husband(her step-dad) and I have been fighting a lot. her step dad has been in her life for 6 years and been more of a dad to her then her real dad. Anyways I cried so hard when I listened to the song and I told him to listen to the words and that this is how our daughter felt. he then told me so maybe she should act better after that the fighting got worse and we are now in the middle of a DIVORCE. this is so hard due to we have been through a lot together 5 years ago he went blind due to Diabetes and 3 years ago he started kidney failure all of this I stood beside him and we married in march 2013. he then started having a hard time and staying mad and it would be taken out on us. we aren't DIVORCEING because we don't love each other its just not healthy and I don't want my daughter thinking it is ok for a man to talk to women the way he started to. it has been so hard on her and every time this song comes on she cranks up the radio and sings her little heart out and she knows the words like the back of her hand along with a lot of your songs. You have been her therapy through this all and one day I hope I can get her to one of your concerts and her get to meet you. you are a true blessing in our life and you help us stay positive.
