Carrie has said before in interviews that she hates auto-tune. A singer shouldn't need it. Carrie never used backing track in her live performances.
I love that Carrie is performing multiple songs off Cry Pretty. It's refreshing to hear live performances of songs not yet released as singles.
Carrie has done that, through her whole career, performing songs that don't get released.
I love when singers do that. Some of them are focus on the hits but I like how the artist perform some of the songs that’s not a hit. It helps to let everyone know what’s on the album.

Completely agree. Other artists have to make up for their mediocre talent with dancing and theatrical circus. A truly talented artist, like Carrie, doesn't need all the theatrics.

I am glad she did this song for it needed to be heard!!! My father died of alcoholism. The alcohol had a hand in him getting cancer which ended his life. He drank till the day he passed away. Thank you Carrie for sharing this song with us all. I just pray that those who hear it will get the message.

Nobody, including me understands why I can't catch a break. But there are people that have it A LOT worse. Her music has helped me get through my crap. Pray for ALL of us! Living with an alcoholic is not fun. My dad was one my whole life. The only thing that mad him stop was his kidneys stop functioning. Died 10 years later. Took me a long time to come to peace about my childhood. Hated him even the day of his funeral I couldn't even mourn. He's been dead 5 yrs now and I do miss some of the good times. We had alot of abuse growing up so it takes a long time to get over that. I raise my kids very different. I had to learn how to love. My dad only hugged me once in my 35yrs before he passed. So to anyone who has lived through a person who is a drunk or who is a drunk there is life after the ordeal.
