I'm a survivor of the Pulse Night Club Massacre from June 12, 2016, and I felt such a strong connection to this song. I even cried a little from the love, belief, understanding, hope and healing that comes from how love wins.
You helped bring this song home for me, even to "love is an open door", because Iyanla Vanzant told me I was a doorway, if I were a door it'd swing both ways, after I told her I'd been searching for a key my whole life. I was looking for the wrong object, because I've never needed a key. So, as I continue on this long journey of hope, faith, success, peace, healing, and reflection I can say this song is spot on to where I am in life at this moment. Thank you Carrie Underwood!!!
