Exactly!!! She even said it herself, she tries to keep her vocals untouched, that way she will sound like the recorded version while performing live! It gives me full body chills any time she sings, god gave her the greatest gift of all time her vocals! My boyfriend and I were literally blown away that she sang on her couch so effortlessly making a personalized video. My boyfriend sings at our church and he heard Carrie Underwood play on my laptop and he asked me, "is that the singer's Cry Pretty cd I got you for your bday last September that you have not taken out of your CD player in your car since your birthday" and I said yes. My boyfriend told me, I certainly can't sit on a couch and sing that extraordinary. I am praying that her concert in Pa in September does not get canceled. I was in the military when she won on American Idol and this is my first concert in life I will be going to and I am 38. Veterans and I love her songs!!! Her song, The Bullet on her Cry Pretty album is raw and emotional. Don't ever retire Carrie Underwood.

Ben Hobson Music Actually I don’t find that to be one of her best CMA performances. It’s not a great song nor is it my favorite but I give her a ton of credit for trying a genre that may not be in her wheelhouse. I honestly just wasn’t that impressed with her CMA performance. She has an incredible voice but that performance kind of left me underwhelmed.
