You're exactly right i just saw that today in one of her interviews. She can sing without auto tune because she listens to herself and she likes to make things like pitch and everything perfect. Carrie is the real deal and an awesome song writer/artist. My favorite female by all means. She has and was blessed with so much talent and like she said when she isn't touring she likes to be a homebody and do what a mother and a wife does.
When Carrie came through Idol, she changed music landscape. Idol was supposed to be a pop competition and when Carrie won it, she changed it to all genre competition.

They were well aware of cold she was. But Carrie is a trouper and won't disappoint her fans. You tell some of those people were freezing like Carrie.

I can't say I'm a huge fan of medley submissions, but two thumbs up for Carrie's tasteful, stylish attire. The colors in particular work extremely well.
Only problem with it. Carrie admitted she was freezing while doing this performance. It was around 10 degrees when she was performing.

Actually she can play the guitar, the piano, the harmonica, and drums, but she focuses on her strongest instrument- her vocal cords. Too bad youve probably never met her, talked to her, and find her to be sweet, a bit shy and caring- youre just jealous because youre ugly inside and out.
