Tonight my brother was almost killed while hauling appliances when a truck pulled put in front of him. The over-hanging bars on the truck trailer broke through the windshield directly into the driver seat. Ironically, If he woulda been wearing his seatbelt, he would have been decapitated and I'd never see him again. Thankfully, His reflexes were quick enough and allowed him to jump through the windshield just in time. He had nothing but a few scratches on his back. God was more real than ever tonight for my brother and my family. This song just gives me chills ever since this happened.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
I'm not religious, but this song touches me. I'm passing through some hard stuff right now and the only hope left me is praying and asking for God to help me. I'm listening this right now and felling joy and believing that someone's watching over me till I'm passing through the difficulties.
I pray those difficult times have passed and you can see past them now. God is always there, sometimes we’re not sure because we’re just human but His word says He is.
Dude I'm not sure how old you are but time passes really quickly and I'm not getting him 65 now and I still feel regret over stuff that I didn't do when I was 17, 23, 25 the stuff I let go by me or passed by me without doing anything about it. You have a church or I don't know what your religion is something city guy whatever and you are thinking about going there then go there. Honestly you might think about while ago tomorrow I'll do it tomorrow or I'll do it next week. Your kidneys are going to be kicking yourself. I haven't gone to a church in over 20 years and the last time I went was for a funeral. I did not love the reason that I was there but I loved how I felt while I was in the church and then people were singing. If you get a chance to get involved or even if you do not make one the reason I say this is because it is one of my biggest regrets and I think that if you have the chance to do it go to the church now get involved with the people there. Just do it
I lost my wife couple of years ago we were childhood sweethearts. After that i dropped out of the radar and hit rockbottom so hard.I locked myself up and all i could do was grieve.I thought i'd never be happy again but on 2014 things changed! I woke up in the morning i felt God's love was pouring down on me, light begin to shine on me, God showed mercy over my life and gave back my joy! When this song came out i felt as if she was singing about my life..I once was lost..but now I'm found..was blind but now I see..💙
I was baptized when I was a baby. I have been doing Bible studies through the college ministry that I am in. Tomorrow, I am getting baptized. I am very excited to have a real neverending friendship with Jesus!!
+MavsGirl4132 - rejoicing with you - same story for me in college, and I just turned 60 years old. Following Him in obedience and trust no matter the cost brings an unbelievable life of adventure in this temporary home:)
My dad was a baptist and my mom is a Lutheran so my fathers parents refused to let me get baptized as a baby. I am now 14 half way through confirmation in the Lutheran church and I'm now going to get baptized in three days I'm so happy
We sang this song in chapel. I was the only one who knew it. So, they called me up, and asked how I knew it, and who wrote and sang it. I said, well, its actually a story.. Ad so I said to make it quick.. I was having problems finding country songs, I have grown up around them, that have to do with Faith. But, one day one day I came across Carrie Underwood, and my life changed. Her songs made me get closer to God. And so, now tons of people seem to be looking up Carrie. And so, ya. Its a good song on faith. For those who don't believe in God, I'm not trying to offend you. I'm just speaking the truth that happened. God bless you all who agree.
Absolute gibberish! God says wide is the road to hell, narrow is the path. Where there is 2 1 will be taken, sheep & goats. If your a Christian, at least Read your Bible about what God says. ✝️🏃💕🌎💨
Please stay straight........ask for prayer on here---we will pray for you-----lots of us, even if we don't know you we still love you through Christ!!!!!! I will pray for YOU!!!!
Heard this song when i was driving and started crying. I can relate to this sonf as i accepted christ as my savior a few months ago and was baptized a couple of weeks ago. And i thank god and jesus for all they have done so far and knowing that jesus has my back it feels great!!
Matt Melnyk I'm so glad for you, Matt!! You need to get into a local church that teaches God's word, & do it FAST if you haven't yet done so. Let me know if you need help & I can direct you to an online source.
mrtlbush thank you. Everyday i thank god & jesus for what they continue and have done in my life so far. I love jesus & god. Someone told me i have a hunger for god.
Matt Melnyk HALLELUJAH!!!! Whatever you do, my brother: DON'T LOSE IT!!!! Stay in your Word, pray every chance you get, maintain a regular fast life, and keep yourself in fellowship with the local body of believers, especially with those that will mentor you.
I think out of every Carrie Underwood song she has had, this song truly has blessings in life. It’s by far her most beautiful song she ever has sang and it shows why she’s one of the most talented, stunning, blessed, and inspirational singers in not only country music but in music all together. Songs like this shows why she not only won American Idol but as one of the most beautiful talented singers in the entire world. When she won Season 4 of Idol, I knew she would be such a huge success.
+Quinn Carter that is right!! it's still the same and I'm actually that religion. It's neat though so just be open minded to it. You don't need to go much in detail talking about personal stuff though. Just some people are more open and honest than others.
I like how a lot of religious groups were bashing Carrie for this song. And that mess, kind of just faded away. Especially, when it became smash hit. But that is Carrie every single she puts out turns into blockbuster hit.
my dad was a alcoholic what he did to me that night i will never forget that your music makes me stronger and it helped me through my depression and anxiety thank you carrie.
It really surprised me how people can bash her for such a beautiful song, I for one am a Christian and in all honesty I could care less about gay marriage, we don't all hate them for their beliefs, views are views! We can all believe in whatever we want! I am going into the Marine Corps to fight for everyone! Not just my family and loved ones but for the bullies and the drug addicts and the murderers! The point I the song is not to contradict her support of gay marriage it's A MASTERPIECE to show that through all hell and pain God is there! He's there for all of us! No matter your past, your present or your future he will overcome! Joshua 1:9 "for I will be strong and courageous not terrified or discouraged, for The Lord God is with me wherever I shall go."
I also battle with Depression and Anxiety as well Carrie, your music really helps me on the Bad days When was very young I had a Brain Injury happen I didn’t lose the ability to Sing or talk!♥️♥️♥️
This remains one of the best songs I have ever heard - thank you Carrie. There is no magic in the waters of baptism but by entering through trust and faith, God enacts the greatest heavenly transaction ever! We are washed and re-generated - truly changed - and then renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit. You think God might just love us afterall?!!
A beautiful song, and with quite a bit of meaning behind it for those willing to listen to the message. If not, it's still a peppy song I understand many criticize her for putting to much "God" in her songs, but frankly, it's HER career, and if she chooses to use her immense talent to glorify God, while still achieving Commercial success, we should all congratulate her. GREAT SONG CARRIE !!
Tonya Bohanon Yes, that is for sure.... Not only is it a meaningful song about God's grace, but it's also a beautiful song even for non-believers.. I can't imagine anyone objecting to it...
+Shayla Slyman I agree..... From the look of sheer joy on her face as she sings it, you can tell she doesn't care what the critics say, and she doesn't care if it harms her career, she's SINGING THIS SONG, whether people like it or not !! I applaud her for using her voice talent for a greater good....
I'm an atheist, but this song is still super special, and extremely nostalgic to me. Was the song we danced to in lyrical class the year my dance studio closed.
God is for everyone. He could be just a friend ya know He's always there. I don't mean you have to believe in him totally but it might give you a sense of peace? I know what you mean by "not for everyone" like it isnt accepted by everyone. But he's there for you he's FOR EVERYONE I can't word this right without sounding preachy XD It's just a play on words now lol.
All my family and including my kids abandoned me and I really didn't have purpose till God saved my life almost 3 yrs ago he saved me I almost died from a mini stroke and I was blind for a while but now I see and in this process he sent me a good man and we're saving to be together he's my true love and my best friend and we need lots prayers for us come gather please we post pone our wedding because of covid and prices went up its not cheap so please pray for us, Also this is such a beautiful song Carrie Underwood God bless you I love your music it has helped me thru some tough times in life, Thank you and Amen and praise God ❤🙏 ✝️
my dad was a drug attic. im his daughter and I cry every night. about why he did that. then when I cried the moon light shined down on me. and I heard gods voice saying. ur dad is getting better. Don't worry
I so wanted my mother to hear this song and sing to it. She would have loved it so much. She grew up singing in the Salvation Army choir. She had the voice of an angel.
When I was young I didn't understand the lyrics but now that I'm older I fell in love with this song... thank u God for bringing us our lovely carrie ....
Praise God! I'm so very happy for you! I became a believer in, and a follower of, Christ after I got out of the Navy years ago. I was an atheist and hated Christians, the Bible, God, and anything religious. I had adopted Epicureanism as my "belief" (life is for pleasure, and then ya die), and after a big party one night, I laid awake, troubled that I didn't feel the satisfaction I expected down deep inside. I realized there was an emptiness inside, and I tried imagining myself as an old man ready to die, and explaining to others that I was happy, satisfied with my life, and ready to die because I _________________. I tried inserting various things in the blank, but all of them just rang empty. The next morning, there was a knock at the door. I was living many miles out in the mountains where I could party loud and do anything I wanted without interference from police, neighbors, Christians, etc. However, the knock at the door was a Christian... my girlfriend's sister, Betsy. I yelled for Sandy, my gf, to get up to see her sister (cause I DEFINITELY did not want to talk to her). They sat in the dining room as Betsy began reading to her sister from the Bible, and explaining the Gospel. An odd thing had happened during the party the night before: Someone broke BOTH my stereo and my TV. In retrospect, I now realize that it was God's plan, so that I would hear every word Betsy said to Sandy. When I heard Betsy lead Sandy in a prayer accepting Yeshua Jesus as her Savior, I began to get quite angry, since I realized that this would cause Sandy to cease physical relations with me. But then, I really started fuming when Betsy indicated tat she was coming in to talk to me next. She walked over to me in the living room and said "Billy, would you like to know about Jesus?" I was ready for her and exploded into a tirade of obscene cussing so she would run out of the room. ...she didn't. She stood there smiling, patiently waiting for me to finish. After I awkwardly ran out of obscenities, I fizzled out with something like "Well, that's just how I feel about religion". She said "Hey, I'm not here to hurt you, I just wanted to tell you that Jesus loves you". (I remember thinking "what the heck? She oughta be worried about me hurting HER, not the other way around".) Later that afternoon, Betsy and Sandy were leaving for a Church service scheduled for that evening, and Betsy handed me a little leaflet (tract) about how to become a Christian, and I agreed to read it just to get her out the door. After they'd gone, I realized it was so quiet without the stereo, the TV, or anyone to talk to. It seemed like the tract she'd left me loomed large everytime I looked toward that part of the room. Finally, I grabbed it out of frustration, deciding to "get it out of the way" so I could tell her I read it. Now, I had read Gospel tracts before (I used to read them for laughs, and then tear them up so no one would believe "that stuff"), but I'd always thought the message was "Stop sinning. Be good, and MAYBE when you die, God just MIGHT see your "good" outweighed your "bad", and let you into Heaven". But this time, I REALLY UNDERSTOOD it! It was like a bright light had just been turned on in a dark room and I could see things I never could before! It was clearly explaining to me that I had broken God's law and could not pay the penalty to clear it up. But God became a man in the person of Yeshua Jesus, lived a sinless life, and died FOR me, in MY place, and all I had to do was be sorry that I had broken His law, and accept His payment He made for me! I WAS SO KNOCKED OUT! All of a sudden, I heard myself saying as I looked up toward Heaven, "You are KIDDING me!! THIS is what you've been trying to tell me all these years???" As I continued reading, it dawned on me that I believed in God... I KNEW GOD! I BELIEVED THE GOSPEL! It really FREAKED ME OUT! I walked around the house, just stunned! Then I walked outside and, in the mountains there's no light pollution, so I could see what looked like millions of stars, but it seemed like I was seeing them for the very first time. I can't explain the joy that was overflowing from me. What was funny was when the girls got home from Church, they came in the back door and were standing in the kitchen talking. I realized I had to tell them, so I walked in the kitchen just as I realized I had NO IDEA what to say. I just stared at them with this look. They stopped talking and looked at me and said "What's wrong?" All I could say was "I did it". They suddenly looked worried like I'd done something wrong. "You did WHAT?" they asked. "You know... that thing... in the piece of paper you gave me... I prayed, to God." They did NOT believe me! They thought I was making fun of them. I had to convince them that I was sincerely telling the truth! That was years ago, but I am still just in awe of God's mercy toward someone like me who mocked & ridiculed Him, His Word, and His people. God Bless You!
I was reborn as a saved Christian on January 16,2016 along side my best friend. Life has so much clarity, joy and peace now. With Christ on our side who can stand against us.
Jennifer Ornduff I got saved on Easter of 2013! My best friend was right there!!! I will never forget that special day! I just recently got baptized and I am new and clean!!! Praise GOD!
God is so good, I accepted Him as my Lord and saviour at the end of December 2019 and I am getting baptized once restrictions allow. I am so thankful for the work He has done in my life ✝️ Update: I’m getting baptized in June at a lake with friends
I know this is a song about baptism. But let's just take a moment to talk about how visually appealing this video is! Soft lighting makes Carrie look like an angel. The light fabrics and muted colors of the clothing create a tone of simplicity that doesn't take away from the dancers or Carries voice. The Dancers! Choreo is absolute perfection with tons of feeling. The moves perfectly match the music (example at 0.26 when legs kick up on the claps) The water represents being cleansed, but also a joyful and playful side of the serious dancers. Carries motherhood glow is noticeable, and I always get goosebumps once the choir starts to sing. I can praise this video all day without complaints. Without a doubt my favourite music video that has ever been produced and a huge high five to the producers, choreographers, designers and anyone else involved in this video. Carrie Underwood never fails to impress me :)
My wife and I had different musical tastes (I'm a rock n' roller, she was more R & B), but we both loved this song. She passed away in January 2020. In her hospital room I had this song playing. Beautiful, touching song.
I haven't listen to Carrie Underwood in a while, but I'm glad I clicked on her channel. This song brought me to tears, because it was glorifies everything I believe in as a Christian. Absolutely beautiful!
God is The Almighty God! Only few people who can inspired and captivated abundance of the heart. God made the selection out of the few and blesses them. Carrie Underwood certainly is one of the few and more blessings to come. I'm so lucky to hear this song so thank you for sharing:)
It's harder for country singes like Carrie to get a ton of views quickly. Since they aren't singing about sex and drugs, or twerking, or dresses half naked, the views don't come pouring in. But don't worry Carrie this will get plenty of views just like all your other music videos and 18 #1s!!
felicitybella1 the songs now a days talk about all that tbh ... the world is changing sweetie we already passed the 80's... if you don't agree then do your research k? God bless
Carrie is more of a classy woman! She has an elegant voice, and that's why I love her! These other artists have no talent, but to brainwash youngsters into objectifying women, drinking, trucking, and doing drugs! As Maddie and Tae say, country songs were more respectful back then!
not sure that the audience only interest is in twerking and revealing clothing but I understand your point. Carrie has the star power and talent to make these types of songs and do it successful. Many artist would be happy to try something different and branch out but they cannot due to their fan base would not accept and the record labels would not even let them. But good comment from you.
I just discovered this song and feel an anointing so Great that I just can’t stop crying! God has called me. I matter and I have purpose. Thank you for your beautiful gift to the world. No song has ever touch me in this way before.Grace and peace is what I feel.
Grace ... Grace. Thank you for defining how I felt the first time I heard this song I was driving and had to pull over as tears overtook me. I cried and wept and prayed and I felt ... Grace. I names my daughter Sadie Grace because of that feeling. And she has been the best of life's teachers to me
I'm 9 years old and I still think this song is the best even though kids my age listen to ariana grande and a bunch of other people I still listen to carrie underwood and I am doing this song for my talent show
I was thrown in foster care when I was 16 and music is all i had. Mom was a drug addict and alcoholic. My great grandmother was the best thing I could've asked for because if it wasn't for her I wouldn't have ever even known what a church was and when she died I lost my way for a long time not to mention my foster parents don't really care for religion. And Carrie's voice just really hits along with the song. God will help me get through this hard life even if I have no support.
I’ve been there. It does get better. I know this message is 11 months late but keep your head up, ALWAYS. Sometimes that small spark of resolve and that one song is all you have to keep you going through those dark nights crying on the floor. I can’t imagine where I’d be today if I had given up hope. ♥️ you’re loved, no matter what. My birth mom was addicted to drugs and went to prison while me and my big brother and baby sister were separated into foster homes. Too many for me to remember. My great gramma helped me through so much with her quiet faith and peace. I came from those dark times with a light that no one could ever put out, and I have faith that you will too.
2020 was the worst year of my life. My husband died and to be honest, I'm still in the gutter. I've got to be strong for my two daughters but I pray Almighty God really makes it easy for me and helps me. I have always been in love with Country music, however for whatever reason I'd never heard of this song. The first time I heard this song was on a country hits radio and I started crying because what Carrie Underwood is saying & singing, it really makes sense. I believe that when you have faith in the Almighty God no matter what religion you are, you will always make it by the grace of God. It's hard not having my husband by my side and it has not even been a year that he died but man I am holding onto God tightly. God bless you all. Stay safe and have a blessed 2021.
This song is the only reason I even started listening to country music. I was in the truck with my dad and this song came on the radio. I am now in love with all country music and can name about every song and that is all because of you do thank you for that. I will always remember this song it is so holy and upbeat and easy to remember! 💕
Quite honestly, I don't understand why people are calling this video inappropriate... I'm a Christian and I find nothing risque about this video. In fact, I find every aspect of it beautiful. I understand slightly where you are coming from, but God gives everyone a spiritual gift. Carrie's is her voice and ability to reach the population with her music and share a message with people. The dance company's is their passion for dance, whether they share a belief or not. Either way, dance is an absolutely beautiful form and while it can be choreographed to be "risque", there is nothing risque in their movement in this video. Dance is beautiful and the body is beautiful and music is also beautiful. I think our society is so caught up in everything being so sexualized that it's difficult for us to watch something intended to pure because we kind of expect it to be inappropriate. I watched this video without reading any of the comments prior and was in utter amazement at the beauty, only to scroll down and see somewhat of an upset that I can't quite understand. This video's intention is to bring the same physical beauty to our eyes that the song brings to our ears and I think it's flawless. Sure, maybe if I rewatch it I'll notice that the dresses are sheer and that there's some interesting shot choices, but I believe that this video is celebrating God and his love (and I respect those who disagree) and I also believe that God thinks the body is a beautiful being. That is what dance celebrates and God intends us too, as well. Look back at Adam and Eve. They only felt shame after the fall and realizing they were naked and suddenly it was something to be embarrassed of. Obviously, I don't agree with throwing around nudity and sex in our society, but I think there's a line between purity of the body and movement, like how I believe this video portrays it, and then there's the raunchy type that we so often see in movies and other forms of entertainment and advertisement. We just need to be able to discern between which is which. I think this is an absolutely amazing piece of art.
Praise God for artists like Carrie Underwood! She is an unabashedly Christian artist in an age when secularism seems to rule. Carrie lets her faith be known to one and all, with no apologies. As for those who criticize her music as "too religious" I would say "Dip your feet in the water and find out how good it feels!" There IS something in the water!
I love to listen to this song if I am having a hard day. my family is going through what may be the hardest part of my life. And I am having a hard time keeping faith. This helps me so much. THANK YOU CARRIE 😁
I’m crying, 5 years ago I didn’t know what this song meant or what it was about, and now me being a year baptized, I understand everything now. This song is so powerful and I never knew until now. 😭😭❤️❤️
Something in the Water Carrie Underwood He said, "I've been where you've been before. Down every hallway's a slamming door." No way out, no one to come and save me Wasting a life that the Good Lord gave me Then somebody said what I'm saying to you Opened my eyes and told me the truth." They said, "Just a little faith, it'll all get better." So I followed that preacher man down to the river And now I'm changed And now I'm stronger There must've been something in the water Oh, there must've been something in the water Well, I heard what he said and I went on my way Didn't think about it for a couple of days Then it hit me like a lightning late one night I was all out of hope and all out of fight Couldn't fight back the tears so I fell on my knees Saying, "God, if you're there come and rescue me." Felt love pouring down from above Got washed in the water, washed in the blood And now I'm changed And now I'm stronger There must be something in the water Oh, there must be something in the water And now I'm singing along to amazing grace Can't nobody wipe this smile off my face Got joy in my heart, angels on my side Thank God almighty, I saw the light Gonna look ahead, no turning back Live everyday, give it all that I have Trust in someone bigger than me Ever since the day that I believed I am changed And now I'm stronger There must be something in the water Oh, there must be something in the water Oh, there must be something in the water Oh, there must be something in the water Oh, yeah I am changed Stronger
Thank´s Andrea, for the lyric´s of this song, just I´m understanding, why the most comment´s revolves arround god and Jesus...hope it´s right, because I´m a German. My English is so lala, that´s why I can´t follow Carrie when she so fast sing. lovely greet´s from Germany and be safe please! 😘
Underwood performed with dancers from the Shaping Sound dance academy dancing in the background and "required 16 choir members, 12 dancers, three costume changes and a custom-built tank of recycled water to create its dance spectacle."
WOW. Carrie - Absolutely glowing. Song - Beautiful and so powerful. Video - Stunning creation. Vocals - Out of this world. Flawless. Absolutely flawless. All of it.
this song reminds me of my grandfather that had heart disease...and then died 7 years later but now God has a new angel up in heaven! I begged and pleated for him to come back but then I heard this song and it was my peace for my papaw! so I just wanted to share that! ill see ya soon pap! rest in peace❤

God saw that final destination shit that was about to go on and said "oh hell no way is that gonna happen tonight see ya"

I’m praying for u right now as I read this I kno all about feeling helpless and hopeless . Stay strong don’t quit right before the miracle ❤
What you are feeling is God letting you know he is with you. Don't give up on him
He’s most certainly watching over you! Keep the faith!
Do you have to be baptized to be saved? I'm 15 and have not been baptized yet but believe in God so would I still go to heaven if I don't get baptized
The “singing along to amazing grace can’t nobody wipe the smile from my face” really affects me 🤗❤️
I love that part too!

Beautiful words and so well said; Carrie would be so proud of your comments. Thank u for your lovely story too.
Just pretend I said everything Helene said. That sums up what I was going to say. Also, love your profile picture ;)

I get chills when she sings gospel music!
I love this. I am changed. After so much pain. I am free. Thank you
This is just the song I needed to hear, I need to come back to Jesus.

I like how a lot of religious groups were bashing Carrie for this song. And that mess, kind of just faded away. Especially, when it became smash hit. But that is Carrie every single she puts out turns into blockbuster hit.

Voice of a angel and such a powerful message....what vocals she is capable of is a blessing for God to allow her to spread the word
A beautiful song, and with quite a bit of meaning behind it for those willing to listen to the message. If not, it's still a peppy song
I understand many criticize her for putting to much "God" in her songs, but frankly, it's HER career, and if she chooses to use her immense talent to glorify God, while still achieving Commercial success, we should all congratulate her.

Praise The Lord...I am CHANGED!!!! Baptized on this day April 30, 2016
She walked over to me in the living room and said "Billy, would you like to know about Jesus?"
I was ready for her and exploded into a tirade of obscene cussing so she would run out of the room. ...she didn't.
She oughta be worried about me hurting HER, not the other way around".)
Later that afternoon, Betsy and Sandy were leaving for a Church service scheduled for that evening, and Betsy handed me a little leaflet (tract) about how to become a Christian, and I agreed to read it just to get her out the door.
THIS is what you've been trying to tell me all these years???"
As I continued reading, it dawned on me that I believed in God...
They stopped talking and looked at me and said "What's wrong?"
All I could say was "I did it". They suddenly looked worried like I'd done something wrong. "You did WHAT?" they asked. "You know... that thing... in the piece of paper you gave me... I prayed, to God."
They did NOT believe me! They thought I was making fun of them. I had to convince them that I was sincerely telling the truth!
That was years ago, but I am still just in awe of God's mercy toward someone like me who mocked & ridiculed Him, His Word, and His people.
God Bless You!
Hallelujah

Such a beautiful song, salvation is so great✝️
Every Christian relates to this song in a deep and spiritual way
It's harder for country singes like Carrie to get a ton of views quickly. Since they aren't singing about sex and drugs, or twerking, or dresses half naked, the views don't come pouring in. But don't worry Carrie this will get plenty of views just like all your other music videos and 18 #1s!!
Not every mainstream artist sings about sex, drugs, and partying. If that's all you hear, you're listening to the wrong artists.
Well most of them are..I think that's what she means ☺️
felicitybella1 the songs now a days talk about all that tbh ... the world is changing sweetie we already passed the 80's... if you don't agree then do your research k?

Beautiful Song
Hello beautiful girl, happy Sunday, hugs
Love this song!
verlei luis vollmer gross Good morning precious friend, have a beautiful Sunday!
Diane Hughes really beautiful
Carolyn Sizemore I think it's a beautiful song, my pleasure to share dear friend!
Thank you for changing my life
The choreography and dancers in this are absolutely phenomenal
This track just earned Carrie her 7th Grammy award!

Something in the Water
Carrie Underwood
He said, "I've been where you've been before.
Down every hallway's a slamming door."
No way out, no one to come and save me
Wasting a life that the Good Lord gave me
Then somebody said what I'm saying to you
Opened my eyes and told me the truth."
They said, "Just a little faith, it'll all get better."
So I followed that preacher man down to the river
And now I'm changed
And now I'm stronger
There must've been something in the water
Oh, there must've been something in the water
Well, I heard what he said and I went on my way
Didn't think about it for a couple of days
Then it hit me like a lightning late one night
I was all out of hope and all out of fight
Couldn't fight back the tears so I fell on my knees
Saying, "God, if you're there come and rescue me."
Felt love pouring down from above
Got washed in the water, washed in the blood
And now I'm changed
And now I'm stronger
There must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water
And now I'm singing along to amazing grace
Can't nobody wipe this smile off my face
Got joy in my heart, angels on my side
Thank God almighty, I saw the light
Gonna look ahead, no turning back
Live everyday, give it all that I have
Trust in someone bigger than me
Ever since the day that I believed
I am changed
And now I'm stronger
There must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water
Oh, there must be something in the water
Oh, yeah I am changed
Stronger

The dancers are shaping sound
Underwood performed with dancers from the Shaping Sound dance academy dancing in the background and "required 16 choir members, 12 dancers, three costume changes and a custom-built tank of recycled water to create its dance spectacle."
I was saved December 7th 2012, and came up out of the water, a year later. Thank God for his salvation.
