I lost my mom when I was 10 (7/27/13) and this song played on the radio while I was in the car coming back from where she had gotten in a car accident, it had just come out not too long before that. I decided to sing this song at her funeral and wasn’t able to listen to it for a long time without crying. I had family who attended WEFEST in Detroit Lakes, MN when Carrie was performing and they facetimed me as she sang this song. Truly a beautiful song and every word applies to how that time felt. Even though I was so angry with the world and God, I knew that I would see her again someday. Thank you Carrie for this song.
This is such a beautiful song. I lost my mom back in May of 2013, we played this at her funeral, then again for my dad when he passed away in August this year. I miss them all the time. Hi, I hope u are doing better now. My aunt died a week ago at 32, due to a disease. I’m not sure what it was but her funeral was on Wednesday. It was hard to keep myself together seeing all of my family so sad. But I did it, and she’s in a better place now.

My mom died a week ago from COVID-19... This song brings some comfort. She spent 50 days in the hospital and 18 days in the ICU on a ventilator... She was only 61. She should've had a lot more life. I will see her again. 💔

God bless you. I feel your pain. Both my parents went into ICU on the same day Jan 27, 2020. Both to different hospitals. My father passed away 4 days later. Then covid hit America. My mother passed away a month later. My parents lived in Knoxville TN. They had 3 girls. We all lived in different states. On the 27th when we all got the call I cannot explain to anyone the feelings we had. I was numb. We all immediately left to get to Knoxville. My heart goes out to you. The only way I get through this is I pretend they are in Knoxville and alive. God is great!! He had a purpose. God bless you❤️🙏
