Bro thats only in a straight line. The reason lambo costs 4x more is because there's more than just power. They have one of the best aerodynamic techonologies (ALA System) which uses aero vectoring, the suspension and chassis(Carbon Fiber Monocoque) set up which keeps the car steady no matter what the speed is around corners, all wheel drive with torque vectoring and all wheel STEERING. All this will annihilate the Tesla in a proper race track with tight turns and corners. To prove my point Lamborghini currently holds the fastest lap time of 6:44 for a production car in NURBURGRING. Dont get me wrong I love what Tesla is doing. But the only thing better ablout Tesla is its power train. Just IMAGINE Lambo with all that I mentioned and an electric power train. I hope this info helps you realize a lot of things about exotic cars and why they cost as much as they do.
@@aryamans9459 Agreed, Lamborghinis pioneered a lot of technology when it comes to carbon fiber body elements. Horacio Pagani was part of the company when they first started with carbon fiber (the guy who started Pagani Automobili). They have tons upon tons of experience.
@@aryamans9459 your comment means nothing. They weren't doing a track race so all the other stuff is useless in this one. Their is no perfect car that can do everything the best. They specialize in different areas. Lambo wins track. Tesla wins drag and neither win top speed against a lot of other cars. At that point who cares about the price the determining factor of which is better depends on how well it does what it was meant to do. And a lot of that price tag has to do with the fact that lamborghini tries to make their cars as expensive as they can in their processes especially since they hand bake the carbon fiber panels. Where as elon hired top leaders in the automotive industry specifically to make the factory as efficient and cheap as possible. If there was an all electric lambo it would not be as good as tesla or their own petrol cars. Tesla has been doing electric for a while now and an all electric lambo would drop the lambos top speed out of necessity of overheating and possibly catching fire like all other electric cars are right now so there's no reason for them to do that. Look at Porsche they have made incredible racing cars that have held their own records at nurburgring but their electric one is sub par compared to tesla, same thing would happen to lamborghini until they figure out how to make the tech better.

Dan Buac If you look at the screen of the Model S in the Top Gear Video, you can see that the Tesla is in „Long-Range“ Mode. This lowers the power and acceleration to provide more range. Really sad to see what Top Gear has become

Being able to afford a Lambo means you can afford a TESLA, but unfortunately it doesn't always work the other way around. I would rather have all the options in life available than "my car is faster or as fast as yours but need to work a 9 to 5" to make up for this shortcoming.
