So why is this one any different from the one 7 years ago? I saw that one and I don't remember all these warnings.
Yeah I remember that. My mother was still alive at that time and was living with me and I took her outside to see it. It was the first time she ever actually got to see a solar eclipse. Sadly she passed away less than 2 years later. I miss her 😥

It's simple because the path of totality will now pass through heavy dance population, and outsiders are planning to go to those locations as well. So logically, it will overload the infrastructure of those places....
Depends where you live. I was in the direct path of the total eclipse last time, and we all had glasses and had heard the warnings. Often times I think people think that if they are not in the path of the total eclipse, they don’t need the glasses. But that’s not true, & it’s important not to look at the sun directly in general if you enjoy having vision.

I’m just staying inside all day during the eclipse
Thankfully, I'm off work until a few days after the solar eclipse. I will be home with my Fur babies we will be inside as much as possible, especially during its peak and thankfully, where I'm at, I will not be in totality of the eclipse, which means the traffic and the insanity and the crazy partiness all of that will not be near me compared to the areas of direct and complete totality.

I live in Rochester, NY and we are expecting hundreds of thousands of visitors next Monday, and there are several pop-up fun events in my hometown area going on to keep our visitors entertained before the big event takes place. According to their computer models, our local weather people pretty much agree that the visibility of the event won't be perfect in my area but will be generally good, better than some other areas southwest of us where many clouds to complete overcast skies may possibly prevail. Niagara Falls, NY declared a state of emergency a few days ago because they are expecting over one million visitors crammed into a small city. Yikes!

Maybe check their website. Eclipses have great research benefits. Einstein first gain celebrity status for his eclipse research (many believed their was a planet very close to the Sun, but he said the effects were general relativity. Come 1919 when the sunlight was blocked making this supposed planet visible, it didn't exist

Whys everyone going nuts over this solar eclipse? I happened to be visiting Columba SC during the last one and there were no traffic issues or issues with animals, or store supply issues either. Damn media is trying to scare everyone as if they already don't over hype every story to be the worst news of the year lmao.
I was in Columbia too filming the best thing I ever saw and there was a lot of traffic going back. Out of state tags from everywhere

The answer is none. No one has ever damaged their eyes or gone blind from glancing at the Sun. There is definitely something up there that they don't want you to see.

Excuse if it's a nonsense idea, but it would be awesome if with the eclipse we are able to see what's in the "Dark Side of the Moon"... I mean we always see the same side of the Moon. Here in Kingston Ontario we are in the parh of totality and we are expecting thousands. Niagara Falls has set a state of emergency on that day due to an expected 1 milluon people.

That was on 10-14-2023, and it was the annular. It was not a total eclipse. The last total eclipse was on 8-21-2017. Its path was from the Atlantic to the Pacific coast. Sadly, it was not visible anywhere in New york.

I never saw a eclipse warnings but I did saw the clouds was green as I never saw something phenomenal about it as was it a sign or something back in Cub Foods Brooklyn Center MN however I just hope it isn't something terrible of these nowadays of end of the world is here part. I just wanted to live and be as I saw my dream visits of my future goals of my life and my future family than something else interferes it as not letting it get it become reality dream goal met.

It depends where you are. In my region of Ohio, it’ll be around 3:12 to 3:16 p.m. Eastern time, depending on your exact location. There are several maps online that let you put in your zip code and get your time if you are in the path of totality.
Northern Vermont: 3:26pm, starting around 2:45🎉🎉🎉🎉

A lot of sleep deprived nocturnal animals which will wake up all groggy and disoriented during the eclipse. The temperature will drop about 30 degrees as well.

Why isn’t NASA, taking advantage of this opportunity? They should have a satellite orbiting the moon on April 8th, so they could get some of the best and clearest photos of the dark side of the moon! This is the biggest flash bulb in our Universe, and we should be using it to our advantage! Just my opinion

The photos taken during an eclipse would be unbelievably accurate, no more shaded areas in craters! An inch by inch clear photograph, I personally would love to see! I have seen plenty of eclipses, I have yet to see a clear picture of the dark side of the moon! Just my opinion

@@user-jp4gk1wg7w hey if it’s coming right by you, it may be your only chance to see one! Glasses are cheap. I was nervous about seeing the 2017 eclipse but it was actually peaceful. I expected to feel nervous or strange but I didn’t. It was beautiful and peaceful. Serene.

I am going to look at the eclipse and the sun with no protection to see how long I can take it without going blind. I like to live the life of danger.
You won't go blind per se. But you will have the image of whatever part of the sun is showing burned into your retinas permanently
