Jesse always talks about a signature win for the US - a gold medal would be a signature win. Don't see it happening but I think that would be great for US Soccer.
Medaling at all in the olympics for the men's soccer would be an accomplishment. Gold would be off the chart.
Ask mexico how useful all their Olympic hardware is...
@@vinniebaratta3508 Are you saying that it would not impact US soccer fans and our sports fans in general opinions of US soccer?
I think Mexicos success in the youth tournaments has been important for them and how they are viewed by the rest of the world despite their current situation.
Also - I think it would send a good message to send an all under 23 team to the Olympics.
USMNT has been great in all categories but I don’t believe they’ll win it. Maybe place 3rd but no higher than that
What you call fearesness in the US, we call it arrogance in Europe!...
Our “arrogance” saved your butts…twice. You’re welcome.
Sounds, to me, like a European soccer fan hears footsteps and doesn't like it?
It's arrogance when you're the favorite. It's fearlessness when you're the underdog.
@@henrywilloughby2327 Well said.
