Some people have ignorant misconceptions - others just like their own team to a tribal level. Deion is definitely a scion for all of us casual fans of good football and the storylines in sports (and Buff's fans).
I’ve never once watched a college game in my life and I was up to 2am watching . Deion is a special talent.

Even if Colorado loses several games this season there's great story here. DS has taken a 1-11 team and made them a force to be reckoned with in the FBS. He's done that in about 6 months, that's the point.
I love that Deion Sanders pointed out the lack of coverage of the HBCU games. As a mother who was very nervous about my son playing football, I would be comfortable with my son playing with a coaching staff like this! Play with integrity. Stating that the health of the players is more important than the game & following that with actions!

Coach Prime be spitting facts. He wants the coverage so that institutions AND players can get their flowers. That doesn't mean it's a cake walk or just given because you have to do the work and he's showing that if you are willing to put in the work and do your job he's willing to do the same for you. In the past in underserved communities hard work just got you the necessities and the system did not allow for "equal opportunity." That's different with Coach Prime. You can work hard, and do the right things, and win on and off the field. He does this with humility, with respect, and is showing his players AND staff how to do things right. Football as Coach Prime say, is just a tool and it's a tool he knows very well. He loves coaching his "kids", and I mean kids as his players. He wants his kids to succeed in life, especially the 95% that won't go pro to the NFL.
I was so glad he said what he said. People act like these guys just became talented. They’ve BEEN talented it’s just that the media doesn’t give HBCUs their credit.
Colorado isn’t a HBCU school he left jackson state and ability to bring light on a hbcu school for money
I lived near Atlanta back in Deion's playing days and he was always a bright spot with the Falcons and the Braves. We loved him back then for his spirit and his playing ability. But now we are getting to know Deion the man, and what a man we are discovering that he is!
I love this man's mature. As flamboyant as he is ,hes twice as respectful. twice as humble. This is beautiful for all to bear witness. Truly a great American.

The way Deon Sanders is as a man is priceless. Outside of football he really a man of God. His kids are as well. This man has 2 Superbowl rings played in the World Series. Coached high school and won a state high school championship as a coach. Went to the SWAC "HBCU" and won the SWAC championship as a coach. Took the Head Coaching job from a team that went 1-11 and now they 3-0. Only Coach to see his oldest son take it back to the house on a pick 6 and then his other son at QB dominated. And this man lost 2 toes and he still here. Coach Prime is a good man

Most of them are not worthy of playing at top levels. His son sure and about 13 players that left sure all 85 of them nope. Most don’t want to play at mac schools and sun belt so they chose to play there. Most of them won’t make it to the nfc level

Who else thought they’d be standing in front of their TV at 1:50am EST on your toes over a Colorado Vs Colorado ST game? Coach Prime has changed the game! I hope in the next few years he is able to create a power house and change how athletes are second to everything in CFB. Great resilience from the buffs! And coming from a Kentucky die hard fan i find it real hard not to route for Deion and the buffaloes! Prayers for Travis Hunter also! Hope the kid is okay he is that dude! And so is both of Deion kids! And the 3rd (his favorite son) doing just as good as the other 2 as far as team contributions
CU football is the biggest story in sports this year and we need to thank Coach Prime for that ! His professionalism and showmanship is beyond measure, his care for his team is outstanding, he understands that his team is not perfect he recognizes his weaknesses and he does not shy away from the truth.

My son played at MTSU. I’m very proud of that. I wish someone like Sanders had been around , I would have been so proud if he had wanted to coach him. The life lessons alone , I would have been grateful
Most impressive thing about this team to me is their resilience…. I thought they’d fold after Hunter Went down, they rallied, & handled business.
Coach Prime infuses so much humanity into what he does. It is a sharp contrast to the dry, stale fare that so many functions serve, not just sports, but also businesses from Hollywood to Wall Street. His personality is a model to embrace. Proud of him.
I'm a life-long diehard Jayhawks, and Chiefs fan, but I have been invested in these young men since spring practice. Coach Prime has come in and done EXACTLY what he said he was going to do. Man....As as fan of the sport of football, it was sickening watching Colorado State. It was painfully obvious they had one goal. They were out to injure as many players as they could. The good guys won the day! Go buffs!

This man has accomplished everything he said he will do....I have watched him since college and the man is just 1 OF A KIND....I'm not even a Colorado fan but u watch them because of this man.....and what respect he gets from those players....and the respect he gives them is impeccable.....if my son tells me he's going to Colorado to play football....I will gladly send him on his way....mybson will not lose he will either become a great football player or be set up to accomplish whatever come to him as a man in an everyday life....
It’s been three games when you get the talent it’s easy to win he had a ton of talent he got his sons very easy to win games when you got border line nfl players on roster at key positions. But again three games good not great

Deion is a real person with a gift and a gifted disciplined son who respect the guidance of his father. I remember another athlete who boasted and then proved his words, his name was Ali. I don't get arrogance from Deion, rather he speaks with confidence and much of that confidence is "pure guts and self-love"!!! I had 8 brothers growing up and I feel a sense of family with Deion!!! I really admire the manner in which he developed that team!!!!
