@@manjarisaraswat693 I think it is more based on the face type. This kind of cut fills in the gaps that are created by your hair and evens out the hairline and makes your hair look fuller and healthier. It may not suit everyone's face as not everyone requires the same hairstyle. When you are styling your hair quite a lot it damages the hair and the hairline is affected quite a lot and hair thinning happens. as i said before, this can be used to make hair look thicker and fuller. It's like creating an illusion which not only contoures the hair but also the face. Hope this helps

@@zuziakras1632 Look at her hairline before and after, the difference is dramatic.
Before the haircut her hairline was more square shaped and had those recessed areas with thinner hair above the temples much more visible.
But after the haircut those areas with thinner hair became hidden and her hairline looks more oval shaped, even if her hair is tied back. The haircut really created a soft frame around her face which she didn't have before.

@@majellabrady66 Yep I did it at home by myself, it's easy. Give it a try, just follow the steps and make sure you don't grab a thick portion of hair.

@@yearningheart9534 I did. It helps especially when pulling my hair into a ponytail or bun but you'd still have to put in some minor effort to make sure your hair doesn't get tied back sometimes. I think it's just how my hair is but it improved the look of my hairline tremendously. At first I was like... oh no this is turning out weird because she's professional and I'm doing it to my own hair but you should just follow her instructions and you'll be fine (maybe give it an extra half inch just in case)
@@anilam274 I searched and apparently M hairline is slightly different from M. I don't know if this is perhaps more predominant in certain racial groups but mine is also M (Asian woman).
I tried it and I'm happy with the results. Will try to continue maintaining this cut too
I also tried it (Caucasian) and it looks good. Next time I'd cut it longer (maybe to inner third/beginning of eyebrow) because my hair there is 2a/2b and curled a little. It's scary trying, but explained beautifully and is pretty easy to follow
This is genius! It creates a more oval face shape regardless of what your hairline is! And I love the softness it adds when her hair is up! I can't wait to try it!

If your hair is curly obviously remember to leave more length to allow for shrinkage.

@@janndaianna8328 make sure you use proper hair cutting sheers. I used dull scissors and now all the short pieces have terrible split ends 😅 learn from my mistake or you'll have straw scarecrow bangs

This is a life changer!!! Absolutely love this tip, thank you! If anyone wants to try out don't be scared and do it because it's worth it. But keep in mind if you have wavy or curly hair cut on the eyelash level instead of eyebrow because your hair are going to move up after cut
I personally cut on the nose and I'm glad I did cause anything else would've been too short hope someone learns from this
