@@oyshirahman897 I agree with you, but high notes has its ranges. When it comes to extreme high notes for tenors, Jin and Jimin does it more. Taehyung has a very wide range, so hitting high notes isn’t a big trouble for him. As for Jungkook, he’s very versatile with his notes..

When you said jimin is non human I didn't even get suprised because he is angle freaking vocal master. His unique Tone always give every song a fresh vibe. When his parts comes his voice give you a very different and fresh vibe . Jimin is unique vocalist I have ever seen indeed he is a lead singer.

Jin started singing when he joined bts. He was around 21 years then and did not have a background in singing. So his different approach to singing could be because of it. But he is an amazing singer and one of my favourite voices in the group.

Well I am an ot7 but Jin is one of my biases. I love Jin's style of music a lot and his solo songs resonate with me the most. On the lighter side of things, he also motivates me that I can do something in my life at this point since I am currently 21.

Facts!!!
Jin, the one that surprised with those high notes, was not a singer. He was recruited on the street for his looks (he wanted to be an actor) and only then started training to be a vocal in BTS. (Maybe why his "technique" or what range he sings best in is not as natural as the others). Jimins focus was dancing like J-Hope. (They talk about his singing/vocal training in Burn the stage ep 4) I think their singing developed with their training. What i love about these guys is how they work so hard to develop their crafts or challenge themselves to try new skills and get better even though they are already so good - whether its singing, wrapping, writing, producing or learning an instrument. They already made it to the top and probably dont have to try so hard anymore but they keep on working and getting better, challenging themselves, trying things... Reflecting, doing introspection, adjusting, taking on challenges, etc just to improve an already fantastic ensemble. Its really admirable. Its worth watching the vids on how they started and how they got to where they are. Even if you dont like their music you will be sold on them as people. Im a newby fan and was so impressed when i delved into their background stories and bond as a group. #respect
Yes, Jin in his lower registers is a very active vocal. He’s got a strong grip on those supportive muscles. He has a belt with a fitting twang that he uses quite a bit. But he can float into his falsetto with ease and sit there being amazingly comfortable.
All the members of vocal line can slay their unique high notes while the rap line can really sing! In conclusion, they are unbelievably talented. Period.

Jin have the widest range actually in the group and he has been receiving praises from top music critics and grammy considered him as "the silver voice."
Actually no Taehyung has the widest vocal range. But Jin really is the Silver Voice of Korea and his voice is amazing.

Jungkook who starts the song is the main vocalist of the group. He co-composed this song. His voice is absolutely beautiful and the way he conveys the emotion is what makes it the best. His vocal technics are also superior. Please do not miss how he harmonizes with all rappers with those beautiful ad-libs and choruses.

Yes. Park Jimin has that element of surprise, he always catches attention be it in singing and dancing. As we all know, it's the Jimin effect. His unique talents add a different flavor to BTS. It's like an icing on the cake.

Jin originally had been training as an actor. His vocal coach talked about how he had to completely change his vocalization for singing.
Jin has really come into his own these past couple of years. His voice is so secure and he sings with a confidence I didn't see in him until recently. I'm so happy he has realized that he sings like an angel and he doesn't have to worry about his voice anymore.
people actually say that jimin's voice was so unique and is indeed in a higher tone for a man's voice. Even his co-members are somewhat teasing him for having a smaller and higher voice lmao but that's his asset and he really sounds good with that. He used to beat himself up because of the fact that he just really sounds different and he's too much of a perfectionist when it comes to work but I'm really happy that he now embraces himself fully

JK (Jungkook) is literally THE Harmony and Ab lib king. They are all phenomenal in their on way, and JK just adds that glue that fits with all their vocals. He is a legend in the making.

The true girth of Jimin's voice starts around an E4 and peaks around a C#5 in chest/mixed chest range. This is amazing since the average tenor's chest range usually peaks around a G4, which means Jimin naturally sings 6 notes higher than the average man.

fyi : jungkook, jin and jimin are all tenors but V is a baritone , but still he goes out of his range and sings in a higher register cuz most of their group songs are very high up there. i seriously want y’all to see V’s SINGULARITY song 🔥 that’s his solo song where he sings in his comfort range and it’s sexy ! and yes his natural voice is very deep compared to the other vocalists! ( his voice was the reason i got into kpop at first place 😂)

If You wan them to recognize his higher register, everyone always recommends Singularity which is good and all, but I honestly recommend Stigma, especially the live version, that song definitely shows you the range Tae can have with his voice, he's low on a lot of parts on that song, but then he brings out the falsetto's and then ends it off with 2 amazing really high notes.

I just loved how you complimented JIMIN's high octave and how you well explained his voice quality. If you want to hear more of BTS & JIMIN, you can check out "BTS - I'll be Missing You." And he has an extremely versatile and unique voice, he can sing sweet like an angel, strong and raspy, he can rap, he can sing so sexy that you can die in your own drool. Duality is his thing. And all that while dancing amazingly because he’s an awsome dancer.
12:58 Jimin's been complimented very often by vocal coaches for the quality of his mix voice and how he can navigate seemlessly between chest and head voice. His voice tone and quality are absolutely unique and gorgeous

I actually like to recommend Singularity to V's first time solo listeners because they can hear his higher register in BTS songs and he rarely uses his natural baritone voice so people don't actually get to hear his soulful vocals. But I get where you're coming from because the high notes in stigma are insanely beautiful. I just like people to hear his more natural low tone because that's what makes him unique bc you can hear high notes anywhere in pop music but his baritone is rare if you know what I mean.

OMG, you may have just unlocked the key to my own musical bias. Mitch from the Pentatonix is my "bias". I absolutely love his voice. Jimin in BTS is my bias. I absolutely love Jimin's voice. Their voices just move me the most, give me the most chills, etc. I have a thing for tenors I guess.
Yes! In PTX's new mashup cover of Dynamite & Butter Mitch sings Jimin's part most of the time and they sound soooo similar, it's so beautiful to listen to 🤩

Yeah, V has a naturally unique voice and it's even deeper. He's a baritone, but he's worked on hitting some amazing high notes over the years, so it adds another quality to his sound. I hope you check out one of his songs, Singularity. It's not a pop song and really shows his voice as a baritone.
V has the deeper voice even when he speaks his voice is very deep. But he can hit hight notes as well

The name of the singer who starts the song is Jungkook, who is the Main Vocalist, the one who produced & composed the song for a Japanese OST.. Well BTS are extremely, extremely talented group. It's amazing everytime they perform. Awesome to hear.

Jin really does shine in the higher vocal range. You should check out the live version of your eyes tell another of their Japanese song. Most of their Japanese songs are done in their higher register and your eyes tell really showcases that.
But he’s supposed to be more comfortable in lower ranges, since he’s a tenor. So that’s interesting. Because he can adapt to any song and is bending between his ranges all the times, reaching female ranges as well. Awake is such a great showcase of his voice as well, because his voice there is extremely rich and full. This man is in general crazy versatile

@Nara Menat his voice doesn't really sound good in more hyper songs tho, i think Jin's voice is better suited in ballads like his solos awake and epiphany which really matches well with his tonality. Tho its impressive that he can reach high notes its not actually my fav in him because he's really pushing to get those notes and sometimes it gets too nasally, his strength imo really is his low, breathy notes and smooth transitions.

@@scion1185 OMG I totally feel you, when i first heard their music i thought that there was some kind of backing vocal girl singing those parts, it always made me really impressed and captured my attention, loved already, so i came to YT to see their MV to find out who sang that part (it was Dynamite) and i saw Jimin singing and i swear to you i doubted him LOL i truly thought that they would make some post production arragement in order for him to sound like that - silly me, so i searched their live perfomances and damnnnnnn that guy made me blown away, beautiful unique voice

Taehyung BTS V is what drew me into BTS. His voice is so unique and so very soulful. His voice brings tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for highlighting his voice. He is so handsome that he always gets praised for his looks but his voice needs equal attention.
Totally agree. I first heard V singing ‘Sweet Night’ & I was pleasantly surprised to find out that it was V of BTS cuz ‘Sweet Night’ which V wrote, produced, & sung is NOT part of BTS discography. He has wonderfully unique voice & his solos are more sophisticated than other BTS songs. Very soulful & emotional. V’s vocals can be fully appreciated in his solo songs like ‘Singularity’ which was praised as one of best songs in 2018 by critics worldwide.
For me it was jk fake love who made me army the first time, then i saw v singularity. And I was like wow!!! Then nowadays i grow fond of jimin's vocal. Although many people constantly say that BTS vocal line is not as good as other idol, but for me they are the BEST. Period.

Actually Jin started learning singing after 20 and at that time I guess his vocal cord was already mostly developed so it was a little difficult for him. So he worked really hard.
But u know there are so many songs where he just shines.
Also his high notes are my favorite. They are just AWESOME!!!

Jin is my favorite for live vocals because you can hear the effort he takes to hit the notes and still does them so well. but also because I think he has the best glow up of vocals since over the years you can for sure hear his improvement with every new stage. He definitely shines like you said

Jimin does kind of sound like a robot, because there's something sparkly and metallic about his timbre. Love his voice. My favorite is V, whose voice is like a deep ocean of molasses. Oddly, when the two of them harmonize it's just heaven on Earth. You should listen to "Blue and Grey," which pairs those two and then the other two vocalists, Jungkook and Jin. It's a gorgeous, sad song, but also a flex by the vocal line because each pair switches parts on the harmonies the second time around. And they all sound gorgeous in either octave.
yeah jin... i think it's because he has such a strong chest voice and he's a tenor, and most bts singers are airy singers so he needs to hold back his natural voice's strength at times. personally, i like how he sings. it does have that sort of tension that just makes me feel more - how he switches from chest to falsetto hits me. idk if i'm getting the terms right since i'm not a professional but i used to be in a church choir and in a band - that's about it. lol
i mean, they all have different singing styles but they all have incredible voices. 💜 the rapline too. 🔥
and the fact that he didn't have any singing experience before his trainee years never failed to amaze me because I just can't imagine the pressure and hours he must've endured to practice and be the amazing singer we all know today 🥺 i always have such big respect for him

@@el-dawn if i remember correctly, he was training in musical theatre. according to their vocal coach, it's harder to shift singing style than to actually learn from scratch, that even professional singers might not achieve it in a lifetime. she was saying how jin "changed" and kept sending her recordings of his voice. but yeah you're right... no matter what, he worked so hard. so hard. and that is really respectable. 🥺

Jimin's vocals are very different if you listen to his solo songs he has this amazing vocal texture and technique and range that singers might find very difficult to catch... Overall he and his talent are out of this world... I wish you react to his solo work as well💜
