Elden Ring: Gravity Weapons Push The Competition Away

Gravity is such a cool type of magic. Honestly, it doesn’t even feel like one of the normal “wizard tools.” And of course, the best part is being able to pull people around wherever you want. Pulling them into pits, AOE’s, or attacks you set up. This pull gets even better when you put your opponent to sleep first, because they can’t roll. A good weapon to do this with is St. Trina’s Torch.

I really gravitate towards these kinds of videos.

The only thing missing is the onyx lord curved great sword. Repulsion AOW is also fantastic for yeeting! A good ying (pushing ) to the yang (pulling) of your other ashes. Plus you get the CGS movset.

I used to hate invaders until I started getting into invading. PVP is actually fun when you learn how things work. Not knowing what the other person might do and trying to predict what they're gonna do is so fun.

I just dropped my 80 strength down to 70 to add some int. The utility truly is great even if it’s only for basically 3 to 5 weapons depending on how much Int you have.

During one of my very first invasions almost two years ago, I was ambushed at this very spot at 2:50 by someone camping the top of the elevator. Seeing Chase just casually rip apart that trap is cathartic.

Godfrey Axe would be an awesome build imo, the changed heavies of Regal roar or even Regal Roar itself would seem like a blast to use. The trading potential or even one shot potential would definitely be high and that is always fun

Warped Axe, charged heavies and Eclipse shield guard counters is fun build. i started Hero, it was fun

Meteoric Ore Blade took a lot of flak for a long time, plenty of people (myself included) slept on it. I guess being in the same category as Moonveil, Nagakiba, RoB and even the Uchigatana it's hard to stand out. But it's a lovely looking weapon and Gravitas is kinda fun.

Using a gravity pull into Ruins is SO good! First reaction is almost always roll away, and Ruins catches them out so well. I'm nowhere near as good at swapping, but you should try it, if you haven't already!

Hey Chase, i run str w some int alot, gravitas hyper armor trades directly into mellania aow and pulls it down, also wen ur not gettin hit u can turn around and pull it down w the AOE, im sure radahn does the same! i know the damage u took from it was during that collosal sword recovery… but just throwin it in there for info!

I'm not sure if you know this, but phantoms turn into gold particles on death and hosts into white ones. Even if they have rings for changing the appearance. You can see it at 13:15 vs 14:06. So you can know whether what you killed was host or not a bit quicker!

It’s a real shame that none of the gravity AoWs do a pick up and hold style attack like Astel and the Fallingstar Beasts get.
That could be super useful in a 3v1 for crowd control, even if it didn’t do a huge amount of damage. Just lift ‘em up and reposition.

What makes Gravitas great is using it right next to ppl. Since they always expect you to use it from afar to pull them in.
Honestly I love katana gameplay in general tbh. Outside of meta dual naga’s, just a simple two handed Uchi is so simple and elegant to use.

As a console player I am amazed how quickly you just switch your armor and weapons mid fight from the menu

Can you try to optimize a fire and ice build? Another variation of Str int. my favourite set of weapons are the Grave Scythes; mostly Fire(str) and a bit of int for the ice. You can have Chilling Mist and something like Sword Dance/Spinning Slash on the Frost ones, and Flaming Stike + Blackflame Tornado on the Fire set. You can use these Ashes/infusions on other weapons as well, Great Spears, Twinblades, Claymores, Curved Greatswords(The Beastman Cleaver is fun). For double handing weapons, you get all the Colossals, and big bonks. And Nightrider's Glaive + Dragon Halberd too.

Gravity pulls... Pulls The Competition was right there!!!
Anyway, Phantom Slash build. You can lock to send the ghost one way, then free aim or lock on the follow up. If you get hit while casting it the ghost still attacks too
