Another gem, Chris. I started with WD-40 and moved to the rubbing compound. However, my paint scuff must have been a little more substantial, so I recruited my thumbnail with rubbing compound for the more stubborn area of the scuff. It took a while and my hands were a little fatigued but it worked beautifully! You can also feel when the paint has been removed by the smoothness under your thumb. Hopefully, this will remind me to be more careful pulling into the garage! Thanks again!

I don't usually put much into these hack fixes BUT this worked 100%. There were a few factors. First it must be topical paint transfer. It can't be embedded into the paint job. Second your directions and instructions were spot on. And third you MUST have patients. Thanks again for this video. My red mustang looks as good as new. BTW it was yellow paint transfer from a parking lot pole.

Had a paint transfer on my Hyundai SUV caused by myself. I briefly considered Hari Kari then I went on KRplus and saw this video. I tried it today and with sober doubts went for it. It Worked Famously !!! Every bit of the transfer came out with repeated applications of the WD and soapy Earaser. Could'nt be happier. Give it a try before before breaking out the wallet and taking your vehicle to the paint shop.

Kyle Smith I don't see how people text and drive, I'm actually too scared to pull my phone out in drive...maybe it's because I care about my car, maybe I don't want to risk it, or maybe it's because my car pulls slightly to the right so letting go of the wheel for more that 4 seconds would end with me in a tree, or a combination of all of that (going to get an alignment soon)

I've used WD-40, with a red or grey scuff pad, to remove heavy oxidation from bare aluminum (engine parts, etc.) and it works very well, for the same reasons you mention. In those circumstances (un-painted, bare metal), it also leaves a nice residue that prevents/minimizes future oxidation or rust (on bare steel).
Excellent video, as always, and I love the idea of using the magic eraser when dealing with a more delicate surface (OEM clear coat)!

Same thing happened to my Dad's car. Left a nice chip in the paint too. :s He does everything he can to keep his car in excellent condition and in the last year someone floored it in reverse into the front of his car, a shopping cart managed to hit it and dent the front left fender, and someone did what happened to your car in this video to his back left bumper. It doesn't matter what you do someone always somehow messes up your car...
