@@malusvir0 so far it’s been good. The first 3 weeks or so I had a good amount of people reaching out. Most of them came through, meaning I detailed their cars. Now I’m just having trouble getting customers. It’s most likely because I stopped putting ads out as much as I used to because life got in the way and I had personal problems to deal with. But don’t forget to do ads and ask for reviews after a day or two. Also I printed out business cards at staples for cheap, I’d recommend it as it helps getting your name out there as well. Currently I’m not mobile, I ask for water and electricity and I haven’t had a problem with that. Half my customers asked me if I need it and offered 👍
      Best of luck to you!

I’ve come back to this channel and subscribed again, because it’s about the best on KRplus in my own humble view. Chris actually shows what to do in steps and top tips on doing it. I’ve checked on so many other channels and so many ramble on and on about their own business and their products and many don’t show step by step procedures and jump around far too much and lose continuity in the process. I’m not going to start a detailing business; I just want to know the very “best” ways to clean and polish my car in a prescribed manner to get the best results whilst not taking hours to do it. Something important to mention is if you drop your clay bar, do not use it on paint anymore. You will be tempted to pick out the visible contaminants and keep using it. Do not do this. No matter how "clean" it looks. It isn't worth the risk.
You can also cut your new clay bars in half, half a bar is easily enough to clay an average vehicle. This gives you more bars of clay you know are 100% clean, and if you drop it, you're not wasting the entire bar.
Also, don't stop at the paint. Clay everything, glass, wheels, chrome, lights, trim, etc. You can also save older bars for less sensitive areas. I use new bars for paint, and have older bars designated for glass only, wheels only, etc. use before finally throwing them away when they're trashed. 👍👌✌

Love your videos! Between the exterior, interior, and engine bay, lots of little tips that anyone can do. I’ve been checking out your videos to prep my car for a show. Every year I try to do better on it.
One thing for me that stood out, that I didn’t see on your videos, was behind the door mirrors. Maybe because mine is white with white mirror housings, but the filth showing from behind the mirrors stood out horribly. Not only that but the hornets like to nest in there. I looked all over wondering how to disassemble them to clean them. Then I found this cotton swab assortment. Between moving the mirror around, and some Soapy Wooder and swabs and a hose, I was able to get all that gunk out. Like you say, it’s those details that make all the difference.

One of the best videos on KRplus for beginners wanting to know how to clean a dirty car in layman’s terms with layman’s products. Loved the fact you didn’t bust out a dual action and did by hand. Way more helpful for the DIYer not trying to spend a ton of money. Emphasized NO SCRATCHING methods which is the most important concept. 50likes

I’ve been watching Chris for years now, way before I could ever own a car. And now I own one, I’m right back here making it brand new

Steam is by far the best for engine bay, you gotta try it. I do it at work on graders and dozers and it's like performing a miracle. Also undercarriage on light vehicles.

I appreciate that you talked about alternatives such as foam gun that connects to a water hose as alternative to pressure washer
