You will become a turn signal. Simple.
_Bob McCoy I saw you on Inside Edition when you commented about a robber stealing a 116 yr old bulb and selling it on eBay.
I love how serious this was, like how it was an actual tutorial, but I still cannot stop laughing when he said if you get blinker fluid in your eyes it causes uncontrollable blinking😂
To be fair, it's true of almost any liquid.
Love how he tells a joke but also gets work done. Perfect
I lost it at "that's why bmw drivers never use their blinkers." 😂😂😂👏👏
Lol
I'm halfway around the world and can confirm, our BMW drivers never indicate either. I'd call that proof that BMWs are prone to blinker fluid loss.
Oh how true though!
All dislikes are BMW owners 😂
Relatable
“Which is why you never see people driving beamers use their turn signal, they just don’t work” LMAOOOOO
Hell, that applies to so many other cars and especially pickups. I came to believe that turn signals might actually be an option people just don’t buy.
And here I thought blinkers were just a option that those high-end car drivers just didn't buy because they're too cheap or couldn't afford when they bought those outlandishly expensive cars.
I have another view on the subject: "if they do not know where you are going, they cannot get in your way".
That stems from the observation that the AH will speed up and fill the space you are trying to get into when you turn your signal on. Sorry, that is my outAH response.
@@patk5829 Yep, I'd be hard pressed to debunk that view as it's proven true plenty of times. Nowadays my blinker is informational and not a request for permission.
Blinker fluid is not even an option on most BMWs. Must be a German thing.
I'm so happy I found this video. I bought some cheap off-brand blinker fluid last time and I got far less blinks out of it than if I had went to the dealership. 🤣🤣

You actually got me. I was sitting here like, "How the fuck did I not know about blinker fluid?!" I went to Universal Technical Institute for a few months and didn't notice this shit was a joke. Good one, Chris.... Good one....
I believed it for a moment because i though it may be exclusive for some cars so i checked it online to make sure what it is.
Michael Turner-Smith dank memes wet dreams
With the amount of proprietary crap that goes on in certain car brands, its not surprising to some people if blinker fluid was a real thing. Even if you know how most cars work, that knowledge doesn't always apply to all cars.

Excellent video, thank you. I would also like to point out that beside the blinker fluid, it is of vital importance to regularly check the flux capacitor to ensure the engine operates smoothly for a long time.
When he said "don't get this in your eyes or it'll make you blink uncontrollably!" LMAO 😂

I love how far cris went with this prank to the point we're he made his own label

@@chrisfix I love how this video was uploaded 4 years ago, but you still replied to this comment.

That's because when you get low on blinker fluid or it goes bad, it forces the car to work harder to blink and drains the horsepower.

Don’t forget to change the summer air in your tires to winter air. Snow will be here soon. 🤪
Lol good onz :D
donny doucette lol
Technically... if tire would be perfectly air tight, you should mix in some winter air, and remove it when summer comes.
DONT START!
Oh havent thought of that one. My daughter gonna be pissed at me again when i send her to the tire shop to ask for that service lmao
Just changed mine! Thank you so much ChrisFix for helping me save money!
Great tip. On tire safty, remember to change your tires air from summer to winter and vise versa. Cool winter air is less compact and has lower humidity. Summer the other way. Could throw off tire pressure gauges and lead to bad tried ware and maybe even an accident.
idk why but the air part lowkey kinda makes sense 💀😭

Well i laugh my ass of. I'm from germany and we dont have any fluid in our blinkers or lights. If there is any fluid in it the blinker seal is broken and it has to be repaired. By the way in germany Mercedes drivers don't use the blinkers, BMW drivers are the one who wanna overtake everybody on every street. :D
And a little question. Why do americans have fluids in their blinkers?
I'm from uk. no blinker fluid here either. must be a crazy American thing lol
If you ever feel useless.. Just remember this: someone's job is installing turn signals into BMWs
Nick Silcox what is your profession
Nick Silcox I drive a bimmer and sometimes I don’t use my signal solely because it’s a tradition amongst us bimmer drivers.
@@mattX5 It also just feels weird dont u think, the lever is there just to flash ur lights for people to move.
UKkn0wn not to mention the turn signal and wiper stocks in my X5 and all new bmws for that matter are terrible. When you push them down or up, they return to the neutral position so you never really know what your signals or wipers are doing unless you look at the gauge cluster. Terrible design and for that reason I only signal if I know there’s someone behind me or if I’m coming up on an intersection and there’s other people there.
@@mattX5 hahahahha yea u gotta push it further for the signal to keep blinking, when u push it softly u get 3 blinks just for changing lane it just dont feel right, also that autopilot lever not in place, easy fix, just dont use turn signals. How often should the air in the tires be changed?
Lmfao
+holidayhouse03 Every 5000 miles, unless you use helium then you can get by with 20,000 miles.
+holidayhouse03 I usually wait till its time to rotate the transmission gears. Don't wanna use up too much air. That stuff is expensive!
+holidayhouse03 Every time the season changes, you dont want to be using winter air when its summer and vice versa! Its really bad for your tyres.
When the temperature starts to drop, make sure you change out your summer air to winter air to prevent freezing!
Thank you so much that really helped me, I almost went to mechanic to get ripped off but then you uploaded this video and now it’s all working again.

@@littlebluepanda7254 From ChrisFix !
Hillarious. Chris is so good with real repairs and treatments that he can convince nine out of ten people that this is a genuine video. The point about BMW owners never signalling was comedy gold.
And Range Rovers :-)
And new Corvettes. I chewed one out yesterday through the windshield megaphone, and also my mind Telepatherizer, for not using his automotive Christmas lights. Which are located near the corners of his vehicle and are operated by a turn signal stalk.
It's not Christmas, so that's probably why he didn't use them to signal a lane change.
Using Christmas lights is apparently only done on one day a year...Christmas. Which most BMW, and Corvette drivers don't drive during anyway.
My dad just bought a bmw and it legitimately has a turn signal malfunction on the front right. I feel for him cause he legitimately uses his turn signal, but people in front of him won't know if he's turning right or not lol. Still true about bmw owners though

I have been a Blinker Technician for over 30 Years. I have to say, that replacing your Blinker Fluid is crucial after every 50,000 Blinks of the Blinker. I also recommend using the Synthetic Fluid, due to it can work at a greater temp, then the Standard Fluid. For more information please visit your local Blinker Technician in your local area.!
The frequency of the blinking depends on the viscosity of the fluid . I like to use a thicker fluid for lower blinking rate per minute and a 5 w 20 for more rapid blinks
And its quite a good practice to consider what climate conditions you operate your vehicle in.
5 winks every 20 seconds, that’s what those numbers are for
