@@hairlessape4863 People should know it's pretty impractical, it removes the seat airbags if you have any, makes it much harder to get in and out of, depending on how deep it goes. Also, on average they're pretty snug and made for more athletic builds. All that, plus the costs, and you can see why they're not that common, these seats in the video are $800 each.

Savage Nation thats the most easiest thing to change in your car i guess... I made for my mom a steering wheel from a steering wheel for gaming... Just the steer and the buttons (A,X,Y,B) are for her gps... Phone... Radio... And stuff like that it was fun and hard to make but now she has a nice ass xbox steering wheel :)
and that xbox steering wheel is strong enough for a car crash and has an airbag?
it doesnt has an air bag and idk butthere are a lot of wheels without an airbag xD and idk if its trong enough... my mom drives safe so she wont fly off the road... she only could get hitted by a truck... xD
wow that's a REALLY bad idea. Gaming wheels are made of plastic and not made to withstand actual road driving forces. Car steering wheels have a metal core inside the rim to withstand road forces, but also break away in case of impact. If you love your mom I would put that steering wheel back to stock ASAP.

Exceptional DIY video. I've been wanting to have racing/buckets seats in my car for a long time and wasn't able to see it for myself until I encountered this video. Definitely learned something as I'm not a DIYer. You make it look so simple and easy especially with the entire walk through, step by step process. Definitely a plus with the narration too.

I love watching these video's. Being a fellow Chris makes them that much better. Although I'm sure my age is more in line with being a parent. I know it may sound strange but I love the click when the bolt hits the target tightness, when using a torque wrench. I think of it as the sound of success!!

Even if youre not installing racing seats. This is so good to know if you need to replace your seat and/or seat belt. I didn't realize its not difficult if you have the right tool.

My aunt had a red car sitting in her ranch so I decided to look at it and it was a Mazda rx7 gsl, it broken down and needs new seats I’m looking at vids to fix the car and this helped me so much thank you man for posting this type of videos
I just realised your videos are perfect for wrapping your head around how to do things like this. For example a 13 year old who happens to aspire to do this one day, they would have no idea how to do this without any prior knowledge or experience with tools or bolts. But with these videos they would be able to understand how to do it without that prior experience.
Or middle aged women who have never touched tools before…

ChrisFix is it possible to have a six point harness with a roll cage while still keeping the back seats available for passengers? Or no, once you add a roll cage the car can only hold 2 people.
Leslie H. its possible but it depends on the car and also the welding roll cage design.
In a 2 door like the Mustang, it'd be pretty much impossible. In a four door though, it'd definitely be doable
He has inspired me so much to drift that I am going go karting for 4 hours just to practice drifting for later years

I'm surprised you haven't replaced the stock radio with a lightweight aftermarket one. It's seriously like 7 lbs of reduction and you get all the cool features like Bluetooth, Android auto, backup, camera GPS, steering wheel controls, etc.

Oh, I've watched that video but I was just thinking that if a after market wheel may make drifting a bit easier, rather than a leather 4 spoke wheel with buttons, but I can see where you're coming from.
