I cannot stress how important it is to me that none of these characters die

this is way too underrated. the art, the atmosphere, they're all perfect. gives off a ghibli vibe. the story was really heart-warming too. really hope this would get the attention it deserves.

The part where he’s about to take the crystal and the lady then puts the ticket on it and then his facial expression made me laugh.
I love this animation so much! It’s so nice! I’ve watched this at least 20 dozen times throughout the 2 years it was made!

I really love Diesel from his design to just how patient he is to the old lady. It's a very sweet story and I'm glad this showed up on my feed. Also, made me cry.

I wish cartoons were like this nowadays. It was so very sweet.
My interpretation of the situation is that the old woman was wanting to visit the tree because it was meaningful to her. She wanted to feel as if she were re-living a special memory while she had the time to do so. The conductor was reluctant at first to oblige but soon was bribed and began to realise during the journey that this wasn't just some ordinary stop for some run of the mill passenger. The conductor saw their duty all the way through, even though they didn't have to, and took the extra step of creating another special memory with the old woman at the same place she was trying to relive a precious memory.

Even though it had no words, the music was enough to make my cry at how beautiful this story is. It's so well animated, and it was a cute story

The character designs are so cute, this has such a soothing animation style and it’s incredible.

This will probably get buried, but here it goes. I have had the pleasure to, over my few years as of yet, to work for a number of historic railroads. One of which, the Wiscasset Waterville and Farmington, originally closed in 1933 and was scrapped 2 years later, the museum to date has rebuilt almost 3.5 miles of track and runs some of the original equipment. One day, I believe 4 years ago now, we had a small family, 2 kids, their parents, and a grandmother. When our ticket agent asked if they'd ridden with us before, the grandma gave an interesting answer. "I have, but I can't remember it too well". Seeing her age, and assuming it was due to a mental condition, the agent asked; "wonderful, when did you last ride with us?" Too her utter astonishment, as well as the rest of us that were later told, The grandma replied "I was 8 years old the last time I rode your train, my father and I were going to see my uncle in Palermo" with the mother of the 2 kids chiming in that the year had been 1932. That being said, she had ridden on rails and had both gotten on and off at stations that no longer exist today. Watching this video reminded me why I do what I do, and part of why it brings me so much joy. Playing with the big iron horses is one thing, yes, but we also create, and (in my oppinion more amazingly) recreate memories.

This has potential to become some sort of anime or movie, I love it and the fact that theres no dialogue makes it have a more wholesome atmosphere, bc there is none when it comes to beautiful short films like these

애니메이션 지망하는 사람이여서 국내 애니메이션도 자주 찾아보는 트위터에서 스샷으로 찍힌거 보고 엄청 기대하면서 기다렸는데 유튜브 들어오자마지 올라와있어서 신나서 들어왔네요...배경 엄청 섬세하게 표현된거같아요ㅠㅠㅠ 움직임도 엄청 자연스럽고 스토리도 뭉쿨하고 귀엽여워서 너무 좋아요 좋은 작품 잘봤습니다ㅠㅠㅠ너무 수고하셨어요!

I was about to skip this video but seeing how much views this has, I decided to watch till the end. And...
I did not expect myself to cry. I usually hear comments saying in animation videos "I cried" or "This is so sad" I thought those were exaggerated but I'm glad this video proved me wrong.

I like how when the crystal exploded diesel's flame head was transparent and the hat still attached to it

보면서 자꾸 눈물이 났어요... 새로운 풍경이 펼쳐질때마다 컷이 바뀔때마다 눈물이 계속 흘렀어요 그냥... 너무 좋다고밖에 표현할 수 없네요
음악도 애니메이션 분위기와 아주 잘맞아서... 눈이 즐거울 뿐만 아니라 귀도 즐거웠던 애니메이션이었어요 짧게 나오는 컷들의 배경마저도 퀄리티가 굉장히 높아서 놀랐습니다 졸작하시면서 정말 힘드셨겠다는 생각이 계속 들었네요... 고생하셨습니다 졸업 축하드려요 그리고 이렇게 마음이 따뜻해지는 애니메이션을 만들어주셔서 감사합니다

대사하나 없는 작품이지만 스토리 전달이 확실하고 연출이나 그림체가 너무 분위기 있어서 몰입이 더 잘되는듯...노래도 너무 잘어울리고 이런 작품을 만든인재들이 우리나라에서도 잘되야되는데...

어렸을때 봤었는데 인상깊게 보고 기억에 남아서 지금 생각나서 계속 이 영상 찾아다녔는데 드디어 찾았네요..다시봐도 너무 좋아요

유튜브 추천영상에 있어서 아무 생각 없이 들어왔다가 깜짝 선물을 받은 느낌이네요. 할머니의 트램 여행에서 참 많은 걸 느꼈어요. 저는 평소에 버스를 탈 때마다 사람이 붐빈다고, 짐이 무겁다고 투덜댔는데 갑자기 그 버스 안의 시간이 누군가에겐 정말 소중한 시간이었을지도 모른다는걸 깨닫게 됐거든요. 그렇게 생각하니 집 앞의 길도 누군가에겐 소중한 길이 될 수 있고 학교 뒷산도 누군가에겐 소중한 공간이 될 수도 있고.. 더 나아가 온 세상이, 매 순간순간이 다 어쩌면 누군가의 소중한 것이 아닐까 하는 생각이 들어요. 이 세상도 할머니의 사진 속 잔디밭처럼, 잔디밭으로 가는 여정처럼 따뜻한 것이라고. 영상에서 만든 분의 마음이 얼마나 따스한지가 느껴지는 것 같아요. 덕분에 따뜻한 세상을 선물받았네요, 감사합니다. 답례로 제작자 분이 제게 선물해주신 세상만큼은 못하겠지만 제 소중한 세상을 드릴게요. 언제나 작가님의 주변은 행복과 따뜻함이 넘쳐나길!

Something abiut this animation makes me want to have an art style just like it- it's soft but still has bold lines, the story doesn't need words to describe the feeling it conveys, and that's why it gies straight into my playlist

the animation, the atmosphere, and also the background music really make this animation really good, and also I almost cried because of this animation

진짜 하나의 동화책을 본 느낌이다...
분명이 말 한마디 들어가지 안 았는데 등장인물의 생각이나 느낌을 알 것같기도하고.....

버스가 생긴 이후부터 아무도 찾아주지 않는 트램의 운전기사. 닳고 닳은 연료조각을 끼워서라도 다시 한 번 트램을 달리게하고 싶지만 쉽지 않다.
한숨을 쉬는 도중 한 손님이 찾아와 건낸 이제는 아무도 가지 않는 목적지 '꽃의들판'의 티켓. 한 번 교체하면 한 달은 달리게해 줄 빛나는 연료조각을 티켓과 함께 건낸다.
처음에는 조각만 얻으면 된다는 생각에 운전하던 트램.
그러나 어느 순간 추억을 넘어 기대감을 품은 승객을 태우고 있다는 사명감에 가득찬다.
끝내 도착한 그 곳은 그 누구도 찾지않았을 뿐, 여전히 아름다웠다. 마치 자신을 기억해주고 찾아온 승객을 반기는 것처럼.
이것이 바로 행복을 나르는 마거리트 트램기사의 첫번째 시작이였다.
애니보면서 눈물이 줄줄 나길래 드는 생각들을 정리해봤어요..!!! 너무 너무 멋진 작품 감사해요ㅠㅠ

I remember watching this for the first time, I was around 14 years old. I was going through a very hard time of my life then and most things in that time I feel very disconnected from however this animation stuck with me. Many times have I remembered it and went looking for it on the internet, not to no avail. And now, I see it on my fyp again and I just started crying watching it through.
I am in a much better place now, and watching this vedio again makes it feel like I'm having closure over the rough times I have faced when I was suffering. It's very heart touching and the story + characters are so cute. Thank u

All an animation needs to do, is tell a good story to me. It does not have to be over the top, and it doesn’t even need to have dialogue. All it needs is a good story. This has story, and it has heart.

진짜 올라오는 졸업작품들 항상 보면 퀄이 엄청난데 우리나라 애니메이션산업이(유아용말고) 너무 빈약한게 안타깝다.

i adore animation. there has never been an animated story I ever thought would work better in another medium because in my opinion animation is the best medium for storytelling.

I don’t think you understand when I say, I have been looking for this animation, for a whole year now. Back in 2021 I tried to search all over for this short animation, but I had no idea about the title of the video and no one else on the internet hear me asking to find this, nor did they even know what this was. For over a year I gave up, threw in the towel and said “there’s no way I can find it, that’s a shame.” Like 10 months later, I see this pop up in my recommendations, and I am ecstatic

such an adorable spirit/fire/person whatever it is, genuinely so caring and kind, patient too. I should send this to a few friends who aren't quite patient when it comes to working in a group with others. I feel like it has some sort of message throughout it, I don't know about the rest of the people watching this video though. This can help my friends understand that I always must wait for them and do things for them, the fire character reminds me of myself, maybe my friend will finally understand how to treat me and respect my traditions.. he doesn't seem to understand in my view what inside hidden feelings are. This video was amazing by the way, awesome job! wish you could teach me! 😄
