오늘은 18살 고양이 장군이를 소개합니다.

장군이는 거의 하루종일 누워서 지냈어요.
그리고 우리집에 온지 이제 한 달
요즘의 장군이는 방안 구석구석을 탐색하고
낮에는 정원을 바라보며 지내고 있어요.
그리고 활력도 많이 찾았습니다.
오늘의 몸무게는 무려 3.97kg 이었어요.

Today, I'd like to introduce you to General, an 18-year-old cat!
When I first prepared this video
General spent most of the day lying down.
He's been with me for a month now.
These days, he spends his days exploring every nook and cranny of the room
and looking out at the garden during the day.
He's also gained a lot of energy.
Today, he weighed a whopping 3.97kg!

Distinguished Elderly Gentleman General snuggling a giant teddy bear is the cutest thing ever. I hope he enjoys many golden years.

General reminds me of a fospice (foster-hospice) cat I took in. He was 20 and also had end stage kidney disease. He was also declawed and mostly blind and deaf from age, and his former family had just tossed him out in the street to fend for himself. He wasn’t expected to live more than a couple of months, but with simple supportive care he lived two more years, and he was SUCH a sweet cat. I miss him and his crackly old man meow. ❤

I love him and I would give my life for him.
I lost my elderly cat last year. She was 19 and unfortunately cancer took her before kidney disease. Old cats are some of the most wonderful companions you can have, all they do is sleep and eat and cuddle and love. Losing a cat hurts so much, but having the privilege of giving them love and companionship in their last months or years is worth it. These older cats deserve all the love and warmth they can get. Thank you so much for loving him.

The general is such a beautiful cat... his relationship with your gardening friend reminds me that when we all moved out of home, our family dog went to live with my grandparents. After my nan passed away, it was just my pop and the dog (Otis), like two old men hanging out together. While the general is benefiting from your care and attention, I think the people around him are also benefiting. Animals are magical in their ways, and healing too.

This video hit my heart! I am on dialysis since 2007 and I don't want to see humans or animals suffer from kidney disease cause I know how hard it is to fight! It's an every day battle! 그래도 장군할배 첨 봤을땐
누가봐도 아프고 생기도 없어보였는데
얼마전 소식주셨을때 보니 훨씬 건강해보이고 눈에 생기가 도는것 같았어요
장군할배 꽃피는 봄이오고 또 다른 봄이 올때까지 건강했으면 좋겠네요~

I did a lot of elderly cat care for my dear cat Sophie until she died at almost 20 years old, she was a fighter and all that love and care helped her live almost two years longer. It was very hard but it was so worth it. She was a happy cat who knew she was loved and died at home with her loving humans by her side. You are doing great Claire and Team! Go Mr. General!

Yes I can sense a cat feeling even onscreen. There's a sense of curiousity in General. He wants to socialize with other cats and love to eat so I am sure he has a strong will to live. Oh goodness, the General was about to break containment at the end! Maybe he wanted to give flowers to ChuChu.
I just took my cat to the vet today. The doctor said my boy has diabetes. My heart is in a constant state of crumbling itself into an unrecognizable shape, and I've been crying more today than I have in many years. Seeing General so eager to explore the house and meet the other cats has filled me with hope I started to believe didn't exist. My Waffle is also an old man, but I hope I got him the help he needed in time. I want to believe he's not done with this world, yet.

I've been a long-time subscriber of yours, but I rarely comment. Last February 8th, I lost Mong, my beloved 13-year-old cat. She was special, born with a bent back, yet she was scrappy and full of energy. Despite her deformity, she never backed down from a fight. In her later years, she had feline kidney disease, which slowed her down, but she remained a fighter until the end. I'm so relieved to hear that General is doing much better now. It's heartwarming to see the bond he has formed with your gardening friend. I still have my other 3 cats and the neighborhood cats that I feed when they come around the house. Taking care of an older cat and eventually having to say goodbye is incredibly hard. Thank you for sharing these moments with us; they mean a lot. I really admire you; you're a good cat mom and an overall good human
