Ruzaini used to have a canteen in UN compound and I ate at his Canteen for 2 years when I worked for UN in Malaysia. His food is one of the best malaysian food I've ever had. I wish you all the success!
Cook at home guys. Its cheaper and healthier.
not necessarily.
Yes, agree. I cook for my iftar and also for sahur everyday.
Unless you are 'bujang' can buy food from Pasar Ramadan.
not only Ramadan, even normal times, Malaysians are living in budget and eating more at home. RM150 before 2019 used to get me a trolley full of items, but that money just get me not even half of the trolley.
I know the feeling before Covid like in 2017 or 2016 everything was so much more affordable
Now it’s like you have to check on the prices for everything
Nah,,even before covid my trolley never full,,just enough cover the trolley base.
I miss Malaysia :( lived in kl for 4 years between 2002-2006. I hope I can go back someday even to just visit
Malaysian grocery more expensive than japan now. No joke

@@AtanAtan-rk2vk well…so many malasian working here in Singapore as babbuu 😂😂😂
@@Natalie_Chu-SG you forget where you get your water ah
Missed Malaysia
Studied my bachelor degree
2016-2020
Will be visiting Malaysia again soon
The irony during ramadan. People are fasting thus eat less, but in much better quality. Ordinary people who usually consume chicken suddenly need to cook beef for iftar, and they will buy it even if it's 2x more expensive, because it's "special" occasion for them. I live in indonesia and consumerism during ramadan is quite crazy
In places like Klang Valley, thats only 45% of the population are fasting. The rest are Chinese, Indians and Foreigners
i remember people used to say that the food waste during ramadan is huge. sellers throw away unsold food. 😢
4:05 Econ’s 101 , great explanations Encik Sir! 😊😊
Eat less outside. Cook.more. what to do.
Mashallah, carry on Ramadan Kareem salute from Pakistan.
Everyone is feeling the pinch right now , it's being expected year on year , Ramadan taught us to be grateful with less, and be thrifty with our budget.
The pm said it was the rental that made the food price soar not about 8% sst 😅😂
asked ruling government instead ...malu la
The title is a bit shocking to me. During a commonly required time of fasting, the food prices increase??? I know less is being consumed, but can’t the nation strive against this blatant form of capitalism??? Sad.
“Be grateful for your pains, it means you’re still alive”…Warriors
I'm a Malaysian muslim as well...I only ate instant noodles and instant corn/black glutinous rice porridge(165ml/portion)+just need to reheat the porridge at suhoor and go eat at mosque right on iftar time
Normal person with good health. Able to work. Have no issues
Its greedy sellers trying to make a killing in this period.
yup. some only sell during the ramadan month. so they try to rake as much profit
This is much ado about nothing. Malaysia is a very, very rich country. Don't believe me , go to KL. The Malaysian government can cook up something in no time and provide for the rakyat. Malaysia selalu boleh. 😅
We need to keep in mind that in many cases, people already has trouble to have enough for themselves and still keep having children. 🤨🤔
Expensive hotel Ramadan buffet and food wastage is a mockery to the intent of fasting.
Save money by staying with parents and eat whatever in the restaurant that you own. Instead of drinking cafe latte out everyday, drink 3 in 1 coffee packet at home. Instead of eating luxury food, put that budget into normal food.
His price is cheap
😂😂😂 its because Ringgit is worth sh!t as toilet paper LOL 😂😂😂
How's the bridge? Ask Jocelyn to make a joke about it just like she made on MH370.
@@runwiththeqase ohhh…the bridge in the US you mean??? its also very dis gustingly poor quality lol 😂😂😂 but, I bet all infrastructure in malasia more more dis gustingly worst in the world 🤮🤮🤮 because malasia is a very poor country 😂😂😂
That dont give are fxxx i have good life
It's ra-mada-ni. It's many times worst at ground 0. Who cares?😢
