  • In 2020, amid a global pandemic, Ford finally launched its highly anticipated Bronco. First introduced in the mid 1960s, it had a tough, rugged image, and symbolized an adventurous lifestyle many Americans aspired to. It lasted about 3 decades, during which it endured a fuel crisis, and a changing U.S. car market that saw the rapid influx of highly successful imports that challenged American car companies. After it was discontinued, it remained a favorite vehicle for collectors and vintage car fans. And now it is back, and Ford is capitalizing on both nostalgia and the heightened interest in SUVs and trucks.

I owned a 1986 and 1993 Bronco. I put 150,000 on the '86 in 12 years. Overall it was a good truck. The 1993 had brake problems the entire time I owned it. I think it was the early ABS module that I never replaced but other than that it was also a good truck. Both were affordable but I have a strong feeling this new Bronco will be ridiculously expensive. Dealers will make up the price because its a Bronco. I also wish it had a Dana 44 in the front like the wrangler.

    • @Chris-ty9ef
      @Chris-ty9ef 3 년 전 +3

@@Blue_Flame_Raptor I believe the problem he's getting at is that it's a small engine being pushed by a turbo. Twin turbo? That V6 is going to suffer. After a while the turbos will need to be swapped as they tend to break. That's to say if they'll outlast the engine handling the extra pressure from the turbos. I don't like turbos in cars as it pretty much guarantees that you won't make it past 150k without it inevitably becoming a money pit asking for your money over and over. I have a Ford F550 super duty that's turbo'd and all. At 50k miles I already had a turbo issue that costed me 3k to fix. 20k miles later guess what? Another turbo issue. This time fixed under guarantee from the previous turbo I bought. I also own a Subaru wrx sti and have had turbo issues with that little boxer engine as well. Also owned a Honda civic sedan and Honda civic hatch and they all had turbo problems. In comparison, my 2012 card with no turbo are pushing 200k and I've had 0 time in the shop and very inexpensive repairs. In today's day the average person drives 15 - 20k miles per year. So in 4 or 5 years if this truck engine starts slacking you better have at least 6 or 7k to throw away or it's gonna be sitting in front of your home. I hope this is insightful. I have more cars but I won't mention them as they are not turbo'd. I mentioned the others because they are fords. I have a Ford F350 with 438k miles and I haven't needed major repairs on it either other than some work on rear shocks or something like that. Cost me maybe 700 or 800.

If it whee for a release in 2024 forget making them in the USA just start production in China and just export the Broncos Made in China to the US and yet here comes for the project of MIC 2025.
Harley-Davidson should do the same just shut down 100% of all US production and shift production to China, so comparing two identical Harley-Davidson bikes one that is made in China the other is made in the USA.
So the owner of the last Harley-Davidson motorcycles that are made in the USA have oil leaks then the personnel will say of your Harley-Davidson has oil leaks is American made, then if a customer says that their new Harley has no oil leaks then the personnel will say if your Harley-Davidson has no oil leaks then is Chinese made.
Result of that is that Harley-Davidson motorcycles that are Made in China are of better quality than Harley-Davidson motorcycles that are Made in The USA.
Same with the DeLorean that is to make the new DeLorean a Supercar it has to start production in China, so to pass the MIC 2025 project the first digit on the VIN of the new DeLorean vehicle should start with the letter L.
So the L VIN code stands that your vehicle is Made in China.
It is for what you expect in 2025 vehicles.
For the Bronco to be high performance SUV.
People expected first digit of the VIN code: 1, 4, and 5
Necessary first digit for the VIN code to meet in 2025: L
1, 4, and 5 stands for a vehicle that is Made in USA
L stands for a vehicle Made in China
      That is all.

Very efficient and simplistic 4by4 ,no carpet. You could pull out the rubber matts and wash with a small amount of soap and water, using a garden hose and a rag. Parked with a slight slope and rinse off easily ,wash the inside same way and the same time as the outside. other than the dashboard and doors (if speakers 🔊) and headliners you’re washing the car inside and out with same two rags and two small buckets of warm soapy water and a garden hose . Easiest car to clean inside and out. Oh! And a whiskbroom under passenger seat. The rubber seal on back of the hood wore out to fast and when ya lifted the hood up when wet out, would allow water to run off of hood right on the distributor cap. Best vehicle my dad ever owned as I was growing up. Plus it had a shorter turning Radius than a Jeep, which was great for those
    Tight switchbacks in the woods.
With a winch and a trailer hitch
It seems like there wasn’t any place ya couldn’t go! 72 n baby blue.

We now are given these ads disguised as news, please remember to be objective, especially when the news source material leans on their advertiser's product. Aside from that it looks like the new Bronco will be body-on-frame as the new Ranger which i think is good thing. So long as they don't follow the downfall of the Chevy Blazer, which in my opinion is now a glorified minivan compared to the off-road capable 80's Blazer that was awesome.

The New Ranger was released for all but the North American market back in 2012, they came with a 2.2L turbo diesel, a 3.2L inline 5 cylinder turbo diesel and now have a bi-turbo 2.0L diesel option. The Ranger Rapter has been around for a few years now in Asia and does not share much of body work of the ranger, nor suspension and is super capable. My neighbor has one and it in no way comes second to the large size North American Rapter except for being a mid-size version. I have had a 2.2L turbo diesel Ranger with a 6 speed auto since 2017 and drive it like I stole it, payload is 1,200kgs and I've had more than that in it (large CV cable roll) its very powerful, extremely economical (68L I can drive 1,085kms) and built to last, although some interior decor pieces will not, I expect to get upwards of 600,000 kms out of mine. I did more than that with my last Ranger diesel, but that was a 1986. So this Bronco being based on the Ranger platform is a game changer. I hope the diesel engine will be available in the near future. Its incredible.
