That's not the fault of TV manufacturers though. It's the cable companies that are failing to keep up with technology. TV manufacters have done an outstanding job at making 4K affordable up to the point where you pretty much can't find any 1080p TV's anymore. They have to move on to the next big thing. They can't just sit around and make the same TV's for years with so much competition in the industry. Cable companies need to step up their game and jump to 4K & internet providers need to up their speeds (or lower their top-end prices) to support 4K and 8K streaming. You can't blame LG & Samsung for that.

Almost EVERY streaming platform, HULU, Netflix, Apple TV, etc all have HUGE 4K libraries. Not sure what you are talking about.
