Separating children from the person who brought them across the border is the safest thing to do. How do any of the people within the USA really know that these children are their children and haven't been abducted or subjected to human trafficking or sexual assault(s), there is no way to safely know till you take the child into an environment where they can be screened. Second, if I subjected my child to any dangerous situation, the child would be taken by social services and I would have to go to court to get that child back. The same laws should apply to illegals.

It's all very sad. But the issue has gotten so far out of control that we gotta take actual action to secure our borders. I get that they are looking for a better life. But at the same time, they know the path they are taking to obtain that better life is illegal and has the possibility to separate them from their families. I think if we're going to paint Republicans as bring selfish family separaters, it's worth noting that the families attempting to break or border laws are willing to gamble their own families future together. What could be worth the risk to put your very own children on the line? If it's that bad that they are willing to do that, I'd argue that family doesn't seem to be their top priority anyways. Don't attempt to break federal border laws, and you are guaranteed the fact that you and your family will get to stay together for sure.

Separating children from the person who brought them across the border is the safest thing to do. How do any of the people within the USA really know that these children are their children and haven't been abducted or subjected to human trafficking or sexual assault(s), there is no way to safely know till you take the child into an environment where they can be screened.
Second, if I subjected my child to any dangerous situation, the child would be taken by social services and I would have to go to court to get that child back. The same laws should apply to illegals.
