I am the proud father of identical twin girls. It is the hardest thing you'll ever love. I cried like a little girl when I heard my babies scream for the first time. Knowing they are healthy and screaming is the most emotional you'll ever be as a dad. It is so much fun Cody. No reason to be scared.

Hi Cody. Congratulations! As a dad of a 10 month baby here I can promise you are going to do great. As long as you love and care for your child, they will look at you like you are their whole world. You will soon get to experience the barely sleep filled nights but all of the joy with their laughs and smiles. My favorite part about parenthood is seeing how quickly your children develop and how they start to figure out the world and how it works. It is so cool. Best of luck to you. Dont freak out. Everything will work out. All babies develop at different speeds, don’t worry if yours is behind on something by a month or two.

My husband LOVES Dad life way more than I expected him to. Parenting is so challenging, and exhausting, it’s selfless but incredibly fun and rewarding too! Before becoming a mom, I’ve never smiled and laughed so much in my life. I promise that as long as you love your boy and love being a parent, you will raise a great kid…no matter how many hard days there are.
You being a little scared just shows how much you care for this kid already. You and Kelsey are gonna be fantastic parents, plus from what I’ve seen your dad seems like a great role model for parenting.

One day you'll have your own kids hopefully, and you'll be conflicted cause you won't understand why your dad didn't have the same love for you as you have for your kids ... Remember though, parents aren't perfect either, and whatever his reason was for not being present, was something he was dealing with himself, had nothing to do with you.
