She was so heartbroken because she had very close relationships with her father. That’s the reason this beautiful song called Fix you. Tried to fix her broken heart

Nobody understands how much this song means to me. I lost my father back in October and it took such a big toll on me. On his birthday, April 25th, I had ordered wishing lanterns, which you light up and send into the sky kinda like a mini hot air balloon, and I was going to write a message on them and send them up into the sky. When my friend and I were preparing the lanterns this song came up on my playlist. The lyrics "lights will guide you home" and "tears stream down your face, when you lose something you cannot replace" mean SO MUCH TO ME. When we were releasing the lanterns these lyrics popped up in my head. I was wishing that they could reach somewhat close to wherever it was that my father was. My father was home to me and he could never be replaced. I miss him dearly. But THANK YOU Coldplay for making this beautiful song. I will be seeing you in August and cannot wait for this song to play.

After 15 awesome years, looks like my dog is about to give in. This song never made so much sense to me and never made me cry this much before. This is the power of music. It connects with you, and wake these emotions you had inside of you but didn't even knew. Some people may think it's kinda ridiculous to feel like this for a pet, but he's not just a pet. He's a family member. He's my younger brother. And i kind of got the chorus on reverse. I tried to "fix" him, but seems like soon the lights will guide him and ignite his bones. I hope that, wherever he goes, is somewhere with no pain and chicken fillet rains every thursday. But he'll have to make new friends, because i won't be there for him for some time. I hope he knows that one day i'll go pick him up.

Coldplay is not only a band, it's the only painkiller to my whole life. Whenever depression tries to swallow me, this song saves me from inevitable difficulties.

I love Chris's voice. It just instantly feels "like home" whenever I hear him on the radio or in my playlist, it's so calming... The emotion he puts in these simple yet beautiful words is amazing, and I can't imagine these beautiful chords and melodies with a different voice over them. I'm 11 and I just lost my dad to cancer. This song was played at his funeral which was last week and I am fed up with crying. I'm so sensitive to anything that reminds me of my dad and I cry almost every night. The thought of him not being there for my 12th birthday is horrible and I'm going to miss him soooo much, he means the world to me. I have a 17 year old brother, an 18 year old sister and a 4 year old brother who also have to go through this. My 4 year old brother was wondering why he hadnt seen his daddy in a while and he thought that he went on a long trip but last week he told me not to cry because daddy is up in heaven now. That killed me inside. And my mum only married my dad a few months ago so she's a widow and a single mother of 4 children. Certain songs are beginning to give me strength through this time - they are My Emortal, Fix You, Human and Full Circle because that was my dads favourite song.

My daughter would have been 7 on the 02nd of April this year instead she passed away in my arms on 11/05/15.
She was then and still is the only light of my life. I can't ever be fixed but so many people have tried. Just like the depths of my heartbreak I will never be able to express the gratitude I have for all those who try every day to fix me.
