Seriously. Everyone loved and still loves these older Coldplay songs. The somewhat depressing yet real ones. The slow ones. The unique ones. Their first two albums gave me chills. The songs from them are still my favorites. WHY can't they come out with an album like those again? I get that maybe they don't feel or write like that anymore but damn. If there's ever a time when we need songs like Fix You and Clocks and In my Place, it's now! Everything is so poppy and mainstream now :( This performance however, is gold.

Same here! Been a fan for a long time. Became an even bigger fan after buying the songbooks for x&y, a rush of blood to the head and parachutes. I was so excited when I got them in the mail. Immediately went to my piano and WOW. I gained a whole new respect for Chris. I had been playing piano for about 6 years at that point, thought I'd be able to play en but nope. I didn't anticipate the level of difficulty I ran into. Mega technical stuff. Those 3 books have collected dust since then. Sitting next to my Pearl Harbor score, Leonard Cohen, Hallelujah, Led Zeppelin 4, and Land Before Time If We Hold on Together sheet music. 🎶🎹🎵🎼
