Pillows = the dual boppy pillow you had them in all the time shortly after they were born! That's not something everyone uses for twins, and it was a life saver!
That’s what I thought of too. She used them all the time. They were hanging together in them all the time on the videos. They were a great help she had said.
The kids are always playing on pillows too!

Little Pillows could mean the tiny clothes you leave in the nicu for the babies to have your scent! This video made me cry happy tears so cute!

i just got chills when she said she will help new moms. i just had my baby in september (also a preemie) and watching colleen has helped me so much. now i watch her while i pump/nurse and she brings me a lot of comfort 🤍
I’m sure that Maisy will “know” how to do these things, she’s just gonna have it be on her terms.
When I was learning to ride a bike I didn’t even get on one until I was sure I could ride it myself - I sat and watched other people riding and my parents would be like “you wanna try?” And I said “not yet, I’m still watching” and then as soon as I was “ready” I got on and rode it.
I do that too. I watch someone else do something until I feel like I understand the process enough to try it.
I was the same way with riding a bike! I do that a lot when making stuff too, I'll watch videos on here for a while before I attempt something and I usually nail it on the first or second try. Things like sewing or woodwork come a little easier than things like baking or cooking that have a lot of room for variation because we all have different tastes and likes.

Lol so I don’t mean to be the skeptic here, but the hand holding thing is just a reflex. All newborns will grasp anything that touches their palm. It’s called the palmar reflex
I saw someone comment that "pillows" were referencing to her dual boppy pillow and I totally agree, I'm pretty sure I remember Colleen being SO happy when the pillow arrived and even stating "it was a life saver" at one point (or something close to that).
Every single time I have asked twins how many minutes a part they are, it's always been two minutes. It's insanely common for twins!!
It was also at 11:22 for Wes so maybe that's also what she meant by 2?

Yes, Colleen, with the newborns grasp reflex, they will grasp another hand if it's there. My twins did it, but I also witnessed it happening in my career as a NICU RN(38 years.)
She was so right about you being a support for new moms, or in my case a mom-to-be. I’m 36 weeks pregnant with my first and we have done everything through IVF. Your videos have taught me sooo much!

THE COMFORT TO NEW MOMS: when your twins was born and in the nicu I was newly pregnant with my rainbow baby and I had covid I was so so soo scared and I watched your vlogs over and over you taught me how to be strong and to take it one thing at a time and that we all go through things and it’s human to be scared ❤ you’ve given me so much comfort as a new mom watching how you do things as a mom encouraged me to be the best mama like you!

@@SnowLilies it’s a really common phenomenon for laboring moms to feel the need to avoid the hospital as long as possible, even completely. When those hormones take over there’s very little you can do to consciously control it, you kind of go into autopilot and for a lot of people, that means procrastinating and resisting.
@@gemmaryan5095 she knew she was having premature babies that most likely were going straight to the NICU and decided to prolong her own birth and it almost killed the babies.

Do you think you'll ever rewatch these videos in a few more years from now to see if those things that maybe don't quite make sense yet will make sense later? I'd be so interested to see if maybe there's some things from Flynn that he was too young at the time of your first reaction video to understand. Same with the twins in maybe another couple of years.

I love how this video came up on my recommendation. I stopped watching your videos for a while because I wanted a baby so bad and I was just binge watching your videos, but then I was getting upset because I wasn't getting pregnant. Now, I'm almost 26 weeks pregnant with my first baby. I'm having a little boy, but my baby has CDH (which means he has a hole in his diaphragm and his stomach and intestines are in his chest, which compromises his lung growth and his heart). We just found out the process that will be going on after hes born, with all the procedures hes going to need, but I also learned most likely I'm going to have a c-section. I'm completely terrified and stressed all the time, because he can end up being in the NICU for months, they said maybe close to a year, depending on how he's progressing, or that he won't cone home at all. Seeing NICU babies go home is comforting for me, and even though my son and the twins are going to be in different situations, it gives me a bit of hope for my boy.

I loved watching your videos when the twins were born. I cried with you while watching them. Little did I know, you would prepare me for my son who is now 2 months old. He was born a month early and was admitted to the NICU. I felt like I was suffocating everytime I had to leave my boy. So grateful to have known what to expect with being a NICU momma! ❤️

It’s actually really common for c section times to be born extremely close to each other☺️ it’s also really common for twins to hold hands/touch each other, they are used to being so close and touching in the womb

Similar experience experience w emergency cesarean and having to be separated from your own baby who’s only home has been your own belly 🥲💔 felt for you as you talked about it.

New Mom here. When you had the hard time before the twins, i had the same experience at 10 weeks :( . After the twins were born ive got pregnant again and now im a mother of an 8 week old beautiful boy. You helped me very much during the pregnancy with your videos. So i could see what a wonderful thing it is to be a Mom ;) Thanks for that. And i learned much about ADHD ;)

I literally paused the video when I heard her say this and I have chills. We were pregnant at the same time and it was my first and I literally cannot tell you how much comfort your vlogs brought me through all the ups and downs you go through during a pregnancy. I am so thankful you vlog and just exists because you helped get me through my pregnancy and I cannot thank you enough AND I have followed you since and you still continue to bring me comfort 💖 I love you and YOU DID bring comfort and safety to me in such a vulnerable time in my life!

@Still Trubbled um... she is not blaming the baby, twins had their own water, so west broke his water. I'm not sure you understood correctly
@@sandgirl8783 wes did not break HIS water.... Colleen's water broke. Probably due to her cholestasis. She blames Wes like he made a decision to come early or to physically break open the amniotic sac.
@@torijanebright of course she didn't mean it that way, she was just talking about something that happened, saying that wes broke his water is just a simpler way to say "my water broke, the one with wes, not maisey" all the time, since she had two waters. She's not blaming her babies, when she clearly loves them and cherish them. Either you really misunderstood or you're just picking on things purposefully.
@@sandgirl8783 in previous videos she has said he kicked them open. And that he forced his way out even though Maisy wasn't ready. She has never once acknowledged how her own actions directly lead to her traumatic delivery, and only ever talked about it like Wes did something for both babies to come early
