Completely agree, I saw him live last night dude is truly a master of his craft. I’ve never seen someone make their job look so easy and effortless. The way he can come up with subjects and tell completely random stories and find a way to loop it up together at the end of the punchline

That Daphne story knocked me on all fours, I did not see any of that coming. That was one of the greatest story reads I’ve ever heard, just soul crushing but pure masterclass. And funny too, just like Daphne would have wanted.

The Daphne story was new to me, and it really made me see Dave with more respect. I knew he wasn't really a transphobe, but that story showed how deeply he really cared about his friend. I hope the world can recognize the respect he has for everyone, so they can see how it's the basis for every one of his jokes.

I love Dave! He has a heart of gold. He might make a joke about tragic things but he does it with love. Only comedy can get us through the most painful times. Something he would have loved is my grandfather had a heart attack and fell off of the toilet dead. We grandchildren, drank his beer that night and laughed. What a way to go!!😂😂😢😂 That is why I could just hug Dave. Just hug him. He is just real! I love him for being his authentic self. I am glad that he couldn't be bought. I am a white woman who is proud of Dave for being real.

I once smoked strong weed out of peer pressure, got so high & we started listening to Hip Hop. I swear to God I started hearing Drake rapping in my native African language. He was reprimanding me for my life choices & talking about I'm never going to come out of that feeling for life. Its 8 years now & I'm never smoking weed even if they offer me a million bucks 😅

Dave is the type of comedian that you can listen to all day long. He'll make you laugh so much you'll look like "the joker". He is truly a master in comedy, period. Funny as hell.
1st time I really heard Dave but he is now in the top 3 of my favorite comedians and one of the best human beings based on what I just heard. We as q whole need to respect each other regardless of what we do or stand. As one of my great mentors once said, we can agree to disagree.

Dave Chappelle is my brother's favorite comedian. He died last year and I miss him, thank you for not selling your soul and making fun of this existence.
An absolute genius, but I will admit that I teared up with the story about his friend Daphne, and that my friends is the skill that this man has that no other comedian alive today has, the ability to shuffle your emotions like a deck of cards, well done sir.❤

The Daphne skit/story never fails to hit me in the feels, a truly tragic and unjust turn of events. "Apparently I was getting dragged on Twitter. But I don't give a fuck because Twitter is not a real place!" More people need to realise this, and to not allow the words of strangers push you to the point where you take your own life.. that's the first time i've ever watched him. i am stunned. fantastic. i've heard of crying with laughter, never laughing whilst crying. the last story gave me a brand new and strange experience, and i'm 52. absolutely superb. nice one.

All those people who are mad at him for “bullying trans people” and “being transphobic” are the same people who pushed a trans woman to suicide. Sickening. Disgustingly hypocritical. Dave Chappelle lives in the same small town as my sister. He knows her just like he pretty much knows everyone else in that town. In fact, every member of my immediate family (father, his wife, her 3 daughters, etc.) has met and interacted with Dave more than once. I myself have never met him, but I probably will one day. Every single one of them has always said what a nice and genuine person that he is. Friendly, engaging, humble, and just acts like a regular guy. His fame hasn’t gone to his head. I really look forward to running into him one day.

Dave Chappelle lives in the same small town as my sister. He knows her just like he pretty much knows everyone else in that town. In fact, every member of my immediate family (father, his wife, her 3 daughters, etc.) has met and interacted with Dave more than once. I myself have never met him, but I probably will one day. Every single one of them has always said what a nice and genuine person that he is. Friendly, engaging, humble, and just acts like a regular guy. His fame hasn’t gone to his head. I really look forward to running into him one day.
