Friday Night Funkin' Sarvente's Mid-Fight Masses FULL WEEK + CUTSCENES (Ruv Sarv Selever Rasazy)

Editor of the story here. My comment will be about the development and detailed process of the changes.
When Mid-Fight Masses went private, that was my cue to do another "Encore" version like with the Whitty mod.
But I didn't want to do the same thing, I wanted to put more effort on it than Whitty. Mostly because it's my favorite mod.
Besides editing the entire story like a sequel, I edited the assets to include more characters and various background changes.
A video on this mod already exist on the CommunityGame channel, so that meant for some meaningful changes on this sequel.
I ended up editing the title screen to "Masses" to "Sadness", and changed Sarvente's smile upside down to a frown.
Even though you only see these for a small amount of time, it might have not been worth doing, but I wanted a great presentation.
If you don't know, various of these assets has multiple pictures. So I had to manually edited each one. The "Sadness" took a while.
The same can apply to the menu of the songs. You're only going to see that for an amount of time, and then you get to the story.
Now for the full week story.
Just like with the Whitty mod, I tried to make the dialogue faithfully to how the characters (Sarvente & Ruv) would talk.
I don't intend to change these characters to be out of character. When you read Ruv's dialogue, it's always the same mood.
When I was editing the story, I was also checking the wiki for this mod & characters, which includes the pictures by the creator.
All the sources to the links are deleted, since the creator left Twitter, but they're still on the wiki. Some dialogue only existed because of that.
Like for example, I wanted to put Ruv in the Gospel song. I found out from the wiki that he's only scared to Sarvente's Lucifer form.
So I had make the dialogue to make sense to have him. The addition of Sarvente in the background for the Zavodila song is a coincidence
She was always going to be there to cheer for both of them, but I found out after from the wiki that it was scrapped from the original mod.
People found the edited story Whitty mod to be sad, since it was basically one-sided to Boyfriend and it ended sad to Whitty.
This time I try to make the edited story for MFM to still be emotional while ending on a happy note on the full week with closure.
I added a Whitty cameo to connect to the previous edited mod story. To make the events like: Original > Edited Story > Date Week
For the Selever story, I went all out. As it takes place in an alternative universe (non-canon) like the original mod.
I went with a different direction by going from emotional to a humorous one, and tried to have a lot of fun with it.
The characters of Selever & Rasazy are still faithfully respected like with Sarvente & Ruv. Like how the characters would talk.
This is also why you have Tricky talk, the various cameos & references. The assets thing was true. That's why Selever only has 3 portraits.
You have one line for both Matt & Sky, but with no portraits, as they were saved for Tricky, Tankman, and HD Boyfriend for some jokes.
Don't try to look into heavily on the Bob conversation. I already knew the drama (about his age) of Bob was already resolved.
There was a Bob (remastered) cameo and I wanted to reference that with the drama joke and why it wasn't the original Bob.
I didn't go with the original since I like the remaster version, but also because people should accept any type of remaster.
If there's anyone that didn't understand the "embrace the charting, no matter what people think" dialogue.
It meant that I never had a problem with the charting when I played the older version of the mod back then (without Selever).
The only problem would be the disappearing arrows. I once tried a rechart & found it incredibly easy (almost similar to Hex)
There's various recharts of this mod that I haven't tried yet, but for the original, I myself never hated it, but I can see why people dislike it.
The ending (the Sarvente & Ruv scene) references one of the pictures by the creator about their childhood.
Like before, I didn't want to change the characters but I also didn't want to progress the story of these characters.
In the picture, they met each other as kids, but in their adulthood they don't remember each other. This stays the same.
I try to stay respectful to the source material of all the characters from the MFM mod with this sequel edited story.
I think this took about 15-20 hours of completion in those 3 days after the mod went private.
Mostly because of the asset changes and I was taking my time with dialogue to make it feel right.
The "Have You Seen Me?" poster is just a bonus. It's Waluigi for the Selever week since that's the April Fools update.
While I was writing this, it seems like I missed this part. It comes from the Q&A from the creator's carrd website. The question being about fan works on the MFM characters:
"All I really ask is to keep it canon that Ruv will only be in a situation with other people if Sarv is involved since it’s part of their lore and vow to be together like two peas in a pod."
There was one scene that I did which had Ruv interact with a kid selling candy. That scene can be seen as a situation & it didn't have Sarvente.
So if you really wanted to take this fan work of the sequel edited story very seriously, then that dialogue scene would be non-canon to the story.
I made that scene since I saw in the FNF wiki that Ruv hates sweets. Consider it as a bonus reference instead if it's seen as a problematic situation.
That's everything when it comes to the development. I hope you enjoyed this sequel story.
It messed up my sleep schedule, but it was worth the time putting this effort for my favorite mod.

Man it's sad how much pointless drama resulted in so many mods getting privated nowadays. I really hope this doesn't happen with all of my other favorite mods like Tricky, Starecrown, Garcello, Bob, etc... MFM will be missed. The charts may have been a bit wonky but the music and characters were so memorable.

This is just depressing: everytime I look at Boyfriend in this state I just feel as sad as him. He's losing all of his favorite mods left and right. Who's gonna be next to fall? Tricky? Garcello? Hex?

Rest in Peace, MFM. You were one of the classics (IMO). Sad to know that Rasazy and Selever will never leave the Nothing World because their parents are gone.

It makes me cry, and say goodbye to all the characters we met throughout our journey in Friday Night Funkin'. This mod is very emotional.

This mod edit gives us an important reminder: The mods themselves may be gone, but they live on in the FNF community. (Also, Screw all the toxic fans that pestered the creators, lol)

I guess we will never know how strong selever's sister is gonna be.

I hope that they eventually put it back up, this is a great mod and I'm sad they took it down

This community started out so strong, even surpassing that of Undertale, but now its slowly, but surely, tearing itself apart.... 😑😓🤦‍♂️

You know, I was actually thinking about trying the game myself, and enjoy some of the amazing mods available.
But hearing about this news isn’t very motivating.
Thanks to the critical jerks who have to ruin something nice.

The fact that all the good mods, including the one that started it all is just depressing, mostly because stupid reasons too.
This mod shall be kept as a memory and shall always be remembered as the some of the best.

I just realized that sarvente’s voice gets muffled when she does her left sprite implying that she’s holding her mic close to her face.
(For some reason it doesn’t happen all the time. Still awesome tho)

While I hated the charting for this mod, I respected the mod for 2 reasons only: the characters and the music. It's a shame that some of the biggest mods in fnf community are going down because of drama

Honestly I don't know what to say. This community is probably the most dedicated and creative community I've ever been in. This small mod about a nun wanting you to join a random church has changed me. In ways I can't even describe. I'm not gonna be like twiter bad drama bad grrr !!11!!1 because tbh that's not gonna do anything. I just wanted to say dokkidoodlez you created the most amazing mod I've ever had the pleasure of playing. Everything the music the characters, Everything is just bursting with life and creativity. Don't listen to anybody who tells you otherwise because they've never been able to do what you've done.

I’m literally gonna miss this mod so much. My favorite songs are in this mod. And the creators worked so hard and it’s just thrown away. It’s so sad to see mods be thrown away. But I will pay my respects for this wonderful mod.

Mid fight masses caught my eye when I first went into fnf's community as a whole I didnt think much of the official weeks and songs and thought they were really good but the mods were the ones that really got me hooked and mid fight masses was my favorite, it's been only almost a year and we are already getting BS with this community being cancelled slowly I'm so sad. Hopefully there will be more and they return somehow

I'm sorry for them. Really. I wish this never happened. I remember playing every level of Zavodila and raging for reaching the S everytime, i really love the songs of this mod tbh, despite loving the caracters and the plot between Sarvente and Ruv, it was acutally a funny game. While it definitely seemed kinda excessive, I LOVED the dialogue between the characters in the AU Church. That was nice touch to put in all of these mini dialogues here and there. I also loved how you added in characters into the background, as well as what you did with the posters. Smart move there. (Waluigi canon smash character soon plz)
I am glad you made this mod. Please keep up the good work.

I remember when I discovered the mod this year on my spring break. I remember when the update came out, with Sarvente turning out to be a demon nun. The first time I saw the mod and listened to the songs… it was an amazing time.
It’s sad how things come to an end somehow… but, like Sarvente says,

everyone says that the charting of MFM is really bad, and i can see where they're coming from, but honestly the charting has a lot of potential, it's just held back heavily by the engine

Even if the mod disappears, I don't quite think it'll dissapear in our hearts. It was truly the best mod I've ever seen. This mod brought me joy, but now it's bringing me sadness. Also, it tought me a lot of stuff. All I want to say to Dokki is Thank you and stay safe. I hope this mod will return in the future, even if it might take a while..

but seriously, i wish twitter wasn’t like this. constantly starting useless drama, and canceling people and things. man, all i want in this community is to go back to how it started, but what are the chances of that?
i remember i was genuinely a lot happier before all the drama started. but i’m just gonna have to accept it, there’s honestly no going back now. it’s gone too far. unless there’s somehow a miracle, everything will stay the same or get worse. all we can do is try our best to ignore all the drama, but it really isn’t that easy when it spreads faster than light itself… honestly, spreading word about drama _can_ make it worse. but don’t get me wrong, spreading awareness can be helpful.
i also feel like we’re focusing on the bad sometimes. sounds hypocritical, i know. but do we not realize that we’ve also done so much good? making such impressive mods, and bringing a game so popular to the point where it almost surpassed youtube in users (i think…). that’s just some of it.
there will be a bad side of a community though, there always will be. no one can change that unfortunately. but honestly we should just try to focus on the good… and give less attention to the bad. they just seek attention, and if we ignore them they’ll most likely get bored and leave, but chances aren’t 0%.
i love this community, (most of it…) and the game. and i’m gonna try my best to keep it that way.

When I first hear mid fight masses I was like (that sounds interesting) when I first heard hear parish worship I love it. then Ruv the beats the earthquake I love it all. And gospel is my still my fav song . Ones they released selever mod (Casanova) I love it sound like a guitar but when the song was over then there was razzy I don’t know how to say her name Oky but that will do. So I thought they will continue this mid fight masses but no it came to an end but at least we remember the earthquake the church the family of Sarv Ruv Selever and razzy

These encores are sad, since it's just The kind and mature fans who are sending off the characters in an appropriate manner.
The ones who cause these mods and encores to happen are the ones who complained about so much. This community sadly has so much controversy and just a bad attitude.
It's sad to see this mod vanish, but it'll be cherished in the hearts of those who cared. ✨💙
