This... this is where true *gamers* were born.
The legacy was created
This gamer was born in a smoke-filled arcade in a Spy Hunter cabinet about 2 decades before flash games.
t... th... thi... this... this i... this is... this is where... this is where true... this is where true gamers... this is true gamers were... this is where true gamers were born...
i swear this is where you and your friends played this shit at school and when u see each other
Legend a
Connor the type of guy to be 26 years old and calls himself an old man
He is a boomer
@@nekobitan8313 Actshually Boomers are people born between 1946 and 1964 🤓👆
He is balding already
Connor: “I’m an old man”
Me as a Gen-xer: 👵🏾🤷🏾♀️
If you rascals didn't give us shit for the back pain, it'd be okay :(
WHO THE FUCK DREW THIS THUMBNAIL?! THEY DID NOT NEED TO GO THIS HARD
Either that was AI art or someone deserves a bag.
ChikTheArtist, they are in the description
Came here to say this. Love the "Disco Elysium"-esque artstyle
@@nickmessner700 Are you so desensitized to AI, anything remotely off is AI to you? A.I couldn't possibly create something like this, grow a pair of eyes lmao
@@eddysanoli good, I'm not the only one who thought of it.
It's such a shame there wasn't anything that could be done to help bring Flash games into the modern era, you know, patching up its code so it wouldn't be a security risk or whatever. Flash games definitely were the best, they had an unpolished, chaotic charm you don't see much these days. Sad that a lot of games may not have been archived - that, and you can no longer use those cheating websites for specific Flash games
With the advent of HTML5 there was no point from a business perspective to continue maintaining flash. It's not that Adobe couldn't have continued it, it's that they had no real reason to.
Flashpoint Infinity is a blessing
dragon city cheating bro
Broo I have like five CDs with 5k+ flash games (at least, that's what the cover says, and I never played the same game twice) from all varieties. They would come with gaming magazines and I just happened to get a few. I'll see if I can donate/find a place to help archive them if I get the chance.
What do you mean? Friday Night Funkin was like one of the biggest games of last year. Newgrounds is still pumping out games.
The Age of War theme is to this day a banger. Praise Waterflame for such amazing music. The song is called Glorious Morning for anyone who wants to experience it again.
I listen to it occasionally, it is genuinely good music.
They did lots of songs back in the day no? Also in castle crashers
@@wagiqwq they still do! My most recent favorite is called Swirl and everything else is still pretty good.
Bruh, it's so good that I've used that song as my morning alarm for like 2 years now.
@@wagiqwq I know them for the Geometry Dash bangers
Need a full playthrough of the entire Duck Life series, the GOAT of flash games
ESPECIALLY 3 AND 4! I still occasionally replay them, absolutely GOATed
Bloons and Learn to Fly though.
It's a hard choice for me to choose between BTD and Duck Life as the GOAT.
Fr
Fireboy and Watergirl was always my favorite, used to play that on coolmath games all the time with my friends. Surprisingly it still holds up as a really good puzzle game, though the controls can be a bit finicky at times haha
that game and Bad Ice Cream were way too fun when played with a friend or two!
hehe most of these are playable on Flash Museum =)
Connor getting baited by the coins is exactly like a monke seeing shiny things
I would low key love a part 2, there are so many other flash games that imo are so much fun even now
Age of War unironically has one of the coolest songs in Flash game history, it doesn't matter that the whole game was one track if it's that good
Damn this is so nostalgic.
I know right! I personally loved going on CoolMathGames and play Run 1 and 2, and then there was the chad of chads, Age of War… both games are legendary to me and I still play it to this day!
@@ThePlagueDoctor_or_SCP049 i remembering using Y8 and being excited finding Y3 was a thing
@@ThePlagueDoctor_or_SCP049 CoolMathGames were amazing to play.
@@Flash-FireCC IKR😌🙏🏼🥲
@@T.Yen1557 OMG SAME! That’s how I found Age of War games, Papa games and even Mobster High or Scooby Doo games 😁🤩
This brings back memories of me playing these games during class on the computers trying not to get caught
mf is so competitive that the only game that he put on S and didnt knew from his youth was the one with the duck. Thats a true gamer
He also put the stick wars game in S too
oh really? didnt watch the stream so i didnt know, thanks
I love how Connor becomes incredibly silent as soon as he falls in Bloxorz. The sheer astonishment ahah
Bloxorz, Bloons Tower Defense franchise, & Dune Buggy were all my childhood. Absolutely SSS tier games without a doubt.
Well now there is bloons td 6... I bought it on sale. It's fun and gets regular updates
I remember playing Bloxorz with the little time I had in class. The saving feature was too complicated for me so I restarted everytime I played.
I never got very far.
My entire childhood was the duck life series and BTD5, glad they got the S they deserve
I’m so here for this childhood throwback while I’m drowning in work.
The Last Stand series by Kongregate, Road of the Dead, and Infectonator series were great zombie flash games. Pillage the Village was another one I burnt a lot of time into as well.
Pillage the Village!
Last Stand Union City was crazy for a flash game, the Rebuild games were great, too
This video has unlocked several core memories for me.
Also holy shit I do not recall fancy pants adventures having animations that smooth, despite conpleting both 1 and 2 as a kid.
Can’t watch this yet but wanted to say the thumbnail is GORGEOUS, hella props to the artist
This thumbnail is amazing!! The artstyle reminds me of disco Elysium
Thumbnail is very good
it's giving Disco Elysium
Runescape, the Adventure Quest series, and Arcanists were my go to games back in the days of flash. I played some others, but I don't remember them that well.
Thought I was the only one who remembered those old flash Adventure quest games, Dragon Fable was my favorite.
You missed "The Game" and "Karoshi Suicide Salaryman" and "SHIFT". Goated games.
I can't believe Connor hadn't heard of Frog Fractions before. It's a classic!
I wanna see Connor play Poptropica, I was obsessed with that game
Honestly!
He forgot to play Motherload and Madness Project Nexus, those two games are absolutely amazing
That stream brought back a ton of great memories for me. I used to play "Run," "Fancy Pants," "Fireboy & Watergirl" and countless other flash games as a kid.
Dude that duck game brings back so many memories
This was one hell of a nostalgia trip for me. I haven't thought of these games in probably a decade at least.
Ah, a trip down memory lane. I used to spend so much time trying to solve the Impossible Quiz game. Wonder how long it'll take Connor to solve it
flash games were the best. Good thing we have archives and Indie games to relive those days. Bloons TD 6 is top tier. Peak Bloons performance. and it came out AFTER flash was dead. They were that invested in their franchise. And so were so many other people. Ik I was.
the art on that thumbnail is AMAZING
Definitely needs more QWOP. Also Nanaca Crash, Defend Your Castle, and Winterbells
Also Fancypants was pretty cool
dude some of these were 60% of my day five years ago, my most played flash games are and were papa's pancakeria, papa's freezeria, happy wheels, infiltrating the airship (because it took me forever to 100% the stickpage version of it), fleeing the complex (because the gman achievement took me longer than the entire rest of the game), run 2, and defend your nuts 2, glad to see you enjoy some of them as well :)
Spent the first third of the video googling around trying to find the old browser game me and my friends all played in highschool. Finally found the name, immediately as CDawg said it. Tanks, I am not gonna go play it and just live in the nostalgia of thinking it is amazing.
This video brought back great memories, thank you
Missing Games:
- Sonny
- Sonny 2
- Road of the Dead
- Road of the Dead 2
- Raze
- Raze 2
- GunBlood
- Electroman (had absolutely banger music)
- The Henry Stickmin series
- Strike Force Heroes
- Chaos Faction
Story: I remember accidentally getting Interactive Buddy banned from our afterschool computer lab days because of the one skin that says something about Satan or whatever.
Add epic battle fantasy 1-5 under Sonny then mardek chapter 1-3 other than that good taste
If there's no fire boy and water girl imma cry
The game Jack Smith on armor games was always fun to me, you play as a blacksmith who makes weapons on order, and it’s all about the smithing process, and then you travel with the mercenaries who requested the weapons to apply buffs and cannon shots from afar, super fun
I watched most of this stream live, pretty fun to see all these games played again briefly for nostalgia purposes and just seeing if they are still good today, it's fun.
Okay but why does the thumbnail look like *Disco Elysium???*
I'm not complaining, it's a gorgeous style and amazingly executed, but very unexpected
The 3 best shooter flash games i remember were Strike Force Heroes 2, Raze, and Plasma Burst 2
Bloons Tower Defense and Happy Wheels are top tier of those classic games
Dude swords and sandals is such an OG. I completely forgot about the game but thanks to connor I remember the grind
Rebuild and Rebuild 2 were so good in my opinion. Basically a zombie survival game where you collect survivors, manage resources, and take back a city/town.
The memories this had unlocked was pleasant. Wish he would’ve done Learn to Fly 1 and/or 2
Bless Luca for putting a hard limiter on the loud parts KEKW
Omg this unlocked my entire childhood. Loved these games.
Watching conner play the block game brought me great joy.
if interested in playing in 2023, flashmuseum has all u need ;)
Ahhhh! My childhood! Should def play some of Fire Boy Water Girl, used to play that all the time with my friends cause it was the only coop game we could find on flash lol. Also try out Soccer Physics. Super simple, great time waster, loads of laughing with a mate
Edit: Mike Shadow: I Paid for It! I used to spend months playing that game. Doesn’t really hold up nowadays but still a good hit of nostalgia. Really good animations as well
stick wars 1 and 2 and strike forces heroes 2 were the flash games i definitely played the most during that time
This video was so nostalgic! So many memories of playing these as a kid. A few of my favorites were Strike Force Heros 2, Miragine War, and Swords and Souls
Man, this was a blast from the past. The nostalgia I got from seeing these games again is precious
Whoever drew the thumbnail deserves a raise
This gut-wrenching feeling I got every time Connor fell off in bloxorz made me wanna cry
one pivotal flash game in my childhood was called "The Dead Case". it was a point and click adventure on Newgrounds from 2004. proof that you can independently make an amazing game on par with what a studio could make if you had the passion for it
Learn 2 Fly was a goated flash game back in the days
When Connor called himself old, I looked up his age. Then I realized I am older...💀
THE STICK WAR LEGACY WAS THE BEST PART OF THE STREAM, WHERE IS IT???
Just to list a few Flash games you missed:
- Stickwar Legacy
- The rest of Duck Life
- Earn to Die
- Snail Bob
- Henry Stick man
- Kingdom Rush
- Double Edged
Thanks for the vid can't wait for the next stream
You forgot Learn to fly
Swords and Sandals with only putting points in charisma makes you a damn banshee. I love it!
Damn the artwork for the thumbnail is fantastic.
strike force heroes anyone?
Hell yeah love that game
I love to watch another one if these, I enjoyed this SO MUCH
I remember there was a series of Flash Games called "Thing Thing" where you were a Rayman style dude who shot dudes to progress. It had about five sequels and then Thing Thing Arena or something like that. I remember liking it a bunch.
Thing Thing and Boxhead Zombies I remember fondly.
11:27- for those of you who are curious, the song is called:
Waterflame - Glorious Morning
Raze, City Siege 1, 2 and 3 are my classic shooters. Intense shootouts with pretty good ambience. How to raise a Dragon is my fav for the story, alongside Bob the robber for the banger of a soundtrack
This is a trip down memory lane
so nostalgic, please do a part 2,there are enough ones like yeti games, stickman or bomberman that would be a blast to the past to watch(al was my favorite boxhead)
The thumbnail is an actual masterpiece
thank you for the nostalgia trip connor!
thank you for the most intriguing pfp
Amazing profile pic, I agree
A yes yes the Friv games will be always remembered
2:52 thanks for the little note in there, i didnt know you could do that lol
I wondered how the frame by frame thing was done, thanks Luca! : )
One flash game you should check out next time is Rebuild 2. Very fun resource management game. Still holds up today imo
Survival Lab on Kongregate was pretty beast. Simple but addicting, especially once you got all the upgrades and got to schmoove around the box, feeling slick from dodging all the missiles and nonsense on-screen
the joy i experienced from watching connor slowly understand ducklife is immense
Plasma Burst was my childhood. Played it so much that I was doing hitless upgradeless challenge runs.
Before watching this video, I'd like to say that there's been a lot of videos on flash games in the last month, this information makes me happy.
watching connor play bloxors is probably some of the most rage inducing content i have ever seen on this channel 😭
Madness interactive from 2003. First game I saw ragdoll physics in, blew my mind.
Oh my god Connor you took me on a very nostalgic memory lane
Holy shit that thumbnail goes hard. very crisp rendering on that one.
I love Fancy Pants man this video was so nostalgic 😢
Man Age of War theme song I would unironically put into my Playlist 😂 it's so nostalgic, WE WERE RAISED ON THIS!!
Connor: Nobody kills kid like me
Anakin: You underestimate my Power!!
Man, the nostalgia is coming in flooding
This was great, Dune Buggy and Motherload are goated!
Playing Counter Strike 1.6 at IT classes is so relatable! 😁 Great content Connor!
The song playing in Age of War is called "glorious morning". Yup, it's a banger
The way I was like ah this seems like a good game to fall asleep to and first second already has him doing his best foghorn impression
I can't believe Conner didnt play Combat Tournament Legends it was all i played in my childhood and honestly was my gateway drug into anime.
the magic of dropping the controller on the L2 key as I open the video and having connors voice cream gay on repeat from my tv
This was very nostalgic :)
I got a huge nostalgia rush when Age of War came up.
I can't help but smile from the nostalgia
Learn To Fly and Knightmare Tower are the GOATs
