@@craftbyhirotoyamazaki I'm from Malaysia. Katana or sword are illegal to have. But we can have it if we have a license from government. And that not easy. If someone bring a wooden katana or sword in public , they can be arrested too. I think it's hard for me to find one. ๐

This is a like for like replica of Makoto Shishio's katana from Ruruoni Kenshin!
It even has the serrated edges for the "human oil" for ignition, and the sparks from unsheathing.

1 - If it is made of steel or stainless steel instead of aluminium, will it break when i dig the groove ?
2 - Can i use that with a sharp blade ? will the heat dull it ?

1 - I don't see a problem using an iron or stainless steel katana as long as you make the groove slowly.
2 - Similar to the question above, the heat might deform or weaken the metal, so if you work slowly, I don't think it will be a problem.
Blades are dangerous and you don't want to burn yourself with a burning katana, so be careful ๐
