When i was 10 i built a similar thing inside my camp we built by hands in the forest a house and we needed electric and heat used car batteries power it and then used barrel keep warm w pipe coming out top going out the roof caught fire had insulation of walls and floor but i was only 10 years old back in the 80's.

Missing a simple heat and air exchange to change the burn n heat rate can easily be added to this great model u made real good job there very nice.

Forget the drum and just use bricks and forget the cutting and would look much better
