For my 13th birthday, my parents got me meet and greet tickets for my idol, Jake Miller. It was a 6 hour drive to salt lake from Boise, but my dad took me. I brought my guitar that I wanted him to sign. I was definitely the youngest person in the whole audience. The moment I saw him, I started crying. Little 12 (nearly 13) y/o me with my acoustic guitar, meeting my idol. He saw me, said "oh, don't cry" with the biggest smile, and hugged me. I have a photo of that moment that my parents had framed for my actual birthday. 4-5 years later, I bought myself meet and greet tickets again with the money I earned from my first job. I brought that photo and had him sign it.

The Rock is absolutely awesome!! Taylor Swift and Tom Holland too!! And the grandpa’s reaction of getting the ticket to the concert was stinking adorable. ❤️

i've been lucky enough to meet and befriend the lead singer of my favorite band, mike love of the beach boys. we've known each other for almost 9 years and it's been the most incredible journey. i became a fan of the band in june 2015 when i was only 11 and went to my first concert just 3 months later in september. my dad and i got last minute balcony seats expecting nothing more than to just hear the music, but we were randomly picked to get moved down to the front around 7-8 songs into the show. throughout the entire show after that, for whatever reason, i stood out to mike in the audience. he kept coming over to my side of the stage waving and pointing and smiling at me (he still interacts with me like that and it's the best feeling ever). there was something about me he really liked and he wanted to meet me personally after the show. his wife brought me and my dad backstage and i got to talk to him for a few minutes, we hit it off straight away and he’s remembered me ever since. even though he was kinda tired and had to get rushed out of the venue, he was kind enough to take a few minutes out of his day to make brand new fan's whole year and couldn't have been nicer. it’s wild to think what that one small thing has grown into. fast forward to today, now i'm 20 and we have a really sweet relationship and special friendship, he treats me almost like i'm his granddaughter! i've grown up in front of his eyes and every time I go to a show he always does his best to make a ton of time for me and make me feel special, both during the show and backstage
