I took my car to Carmax to get appraised and they offered me 10,400 because the paint needed a “respray” according to them due to several panels having scratches and fine scuffs. I stumbled upon your videos while trying to find a way to remove those blemishes without respraying. I ordered some solvent paint got some pads off amazon and went at it. I’m not going to lie and say everything came back like factory but you really had to look closely to notice the previous damage. I was able to get a higher appraisal and sold my 2017 pathfinder to them for $12,000. You helped me make an extra 1600 dollars! Any way I can buy you a beer?

Thanks for this demo. I’ve had scratches like this repaired on my car before and paid hundreds of £. I always wondered how it was done as I knew it wasn’t a respray. Now I can do it myself and save a fortune.

Really appreciate the tips with the scratch repairs. It’s really given me the confidence now to have a shot myself at those minor spots of scratches that are the inevitable sign of an aging car just like an aging body that holds an already aged moth-eaten wallet. You’re a bloody life saver. Thanks.👍🏼

This is brilliant! I always suspected there was a way to do something like this for minor scratches but this is the first time I've seen it. I will be doing this on my car. Used car, previous owner wasn't 100% careful around the corners of the bumpers

The biggest challenge doing car paint repairs is getting matching paint. Sometimes i have had to buy multiple paints to get a match even when advertised as 100% colour match. I been doing DIY detailing for over 20 years and each repair is different. Understanding all this gets you good results. Your video is spot on.

I’ve got to say, I’ve just tried this out on my pride and joy and I was so surprised to find out that it actually works! Mind you, larger flakes of paint and deep scratches weren’t solved completely but definitely enhanced the look, smaller scratches worked a treat! I’m going to keep on going today when I get more time, thank you very much for the video!

    Yes brilliant.
As a vehicle restorer I've used this technique many times.
Brilliant for car park scratches and good enough that the human eye can't really see any residual damage/ deep scratches from standing near the vehicle.
